Course Curriculum Overview
The curriculum is okay like most of the subject we study are asked in the interview. But the problem is there are very few teachers who teaches in depth and most of them teach to complete the syllabus. In my opinion instead of focusing on the marks and assignments the college should focus on coding and preparing for the same. Like they can introduce Moc test and Moc Interviews which will definitely help the students to get the real world experience. The timing of classes for B.Tech is from 9:10 AM to 4:20 PM and I think the timing of classes should be less for the final year and pre final year students so they can focus for the Job exam and interview.
Placement Experience
I don't know much about the placement but yes the companies come and conduct the exam and few students get selected also. But sometimes they bring the Management Company for the Technical students and most of the students are placed there. I think there are very less students who gets placed in technical field with a good package.
Fees and Financial Aid
Fees for one year is 1,27,700 but in the first year of the program we have to pay 1,37,700 in which 10,000 was for security deposit. I am currently in third year and the fees is same from the beginning of the program.
Campus Life
Campus life is good but not very amazing. The cultural society's name is NAVRAS and right now I am the Head of the Management Team there and the names of our events are Aarambh , Winterfall Bash , Open Mic , etc. The technical society's name is HASHTAG which conduct many events like Codetrak, Treasure Hunt , Quiz etc. In the library most of the books are available For the sports activities we have a seperate society named FITFAM
Admission
So I filled the IPU counselling form and I got this college alloted according to my JEE Rank. Before getting this college I already searched for the college in Greater Noida and it was the best amongst them.
Faculty
The faculty to student ratio is 7:60. The new faculty members are quite supportive. The old one's are amazing. Some teachers are only interested in teaching but many of the teachers are interactive. The faculties I like the most are Ms. Shilpa Sharma , Ms. Renuka Sharma , Ms. Sandeep Kaur, Mr. Manas Dey , Ms. Indu Yadav , Ms. Bhumika Pal , Mr. Vijender Rawat , Mr. Gaurav Nagarkoti. These are the faculties which I respect and like the most as they are very generous and we can reach them anytime. There are two exams - one is Mid Semester examination that are held in the college and the other is End Term Examination for which centres are allotted and in the same manner practicals are held.
Night Life
I am a day scholar so I don't know that much about the night life but some of my friends stay in the hostel. Hostels are okay types and the girl's hostel has been opened 2 months ago. No one is allowed to leave the campus after 9 PM Hangout places in the campus are not very much as the campus is small but the Amphitheatre is good to sit in winters
