This college is an nit . There are many nits but I preferred because it is in my home state so that I can get home state reservation and the package of college is good and the faculty and facilities both are good level
Course Curriculum Overview
The course is according to new education policy published by government for competency based education . This includes Good amount of hands on other than theory so that we get proper knowledge about the topic . There are proper lab and tutorial to help
Fees and Financial Aid
Myself Aditya Gupta student of MNNIT ECE first year . I am under OBC category with less than 1 lac income. So my tution fee is 0 and hostel fee is 12000 for all and 10000 and 9000 are extra charges .so total compulsory fee for any student is 31000 per sem and then after tution fee depending on income . And mess fee is 25000 per sem. The tution fee per sem is about 62000 which is paid on the basis of income for less than one lac 0 ,for 1 to 5 lac 1/3 of total and for more than 5 lac complete fee is to be paid
Campus Life
The Annual fest for cultural of call culrav and for tech is call avishkar . We had this fest in November. There is larger number of books in library more the 1 lakh . Sports week is assigned once in the year so that a proper competition can be there and student get developed
Faculty
1:25 is faculty to student ratio and each professor has its own cabin and cab be approached whenever they are free during working hours. I liked most physics in first sem because of the way of teaching of Ravi sir. There are two exams per semester one is mid semester exam and end semester . Result have not came till now for the semester
Night Life
There is separate gym for both boys and girls . There is a common library . The hostel timing for first year is 11 pm for boys and and from second year onwards there is no in time for boys. The famous near by place is sangam which is the world's largest cultural gathering.
