Lectures are not held that regularly Bt this is actually a positive thing because in mbbs a lot of tym has to be invested in self study so this is actually a boon rather than curse as we fo not need to spend much tym there !

All the events including academics and music art and dance are very joyiously celebrated Although these may not be as grand as the mood indigo IIT Mumbai bt happens on a large scale There are a lot of workshops or CMEs which go on throughout the year We have two majors fests One in feb synapse And other in sept oct GFC (ganesh fest ) It also includes sports like volleyball football basketball and cricket

Fee Structure And Facilities

Its quite feasible at 54k per year for an open category student For reserved categories Sc/sts have to not pay any tuition fee which forms the bulk of the fees Other categories depends on whether u belong to creamy layer or not Scolarships are also offered

Fees and Financial Aid

Reserved category students get scholarships by the govt of maharashtra Which may be from 3 k to 21 k per year Also students whose parents work with Western coal field and employees under maharashtra govt het there fees refunded

3

The hostel infra is as a govt premise not very gud But it is recently undergoing renovation Still it have some water crises in hot summers Usually in 1st year u need to love 2 sharing basis , the rooms are not very big Bt it costs only 4 k per year excluding food I wld rate it 3/5

Alumni/Alumna
