Likes

College campus is quite large with hospital within the college premises.
Library, gym, playground, badminton court, swimming pool and other facilities are available.
Huge patient flow, OPD, covid hispital, super speciality hospital are there, with cancer hospital under construction.

Dislikes

Hostel accomodation has 3 students in one room.

Course Curriculum Overview

As per CBME and MUHS curriculum, all norms and activities are carried out. Exams conduction, result allotment and things like that are all done by the time schedule. Syllabus and planners are shared after every unit completion and are taught accordingly.

Internships Opportunities

Internship of mbbs in this college is best. As patient flow is enormous, you will get great clinical exposure. Plus the Internship at this college pays from 25,000 to 28,000 per month, which too is quite better when compared to other GMCs.

Fees and Financial Aid

They have certain scholarship schemes, provided by the government of maharashtra as well as central government to help out students from category. Apart from that, the mbbs internship at our college pays upto 28k per month.

Campus Life

Campus is huge...infact its second largest campus of medical college in asia. Plus there are several clubs/ societies in college for singing, dance, cultural, quiz etc. Annual sports event is conducted and GFC festival is humongously celebrated.

Hostel Facilities

Hostel accommodation is available for everyone. Though there are 3 people in one room to adjust. The room is just sufficient for 3 people, so u have to adjust in first year. Mess is provided within hostel building and it is pretty good compared to other colleges.

Hostel Fee: INR 4500 per year

Admission

The application and admission procedure was simple. Rules and perquisites were already present on college website notice board. The admission is through neet examination. And Cut off for general category through all india counseling was 619 in stray vacancy round.

Faculty

Faculty present are quite sufficient...instead of having JRs and SRs teaching around like in new colleges, our college has quite the number of assistant and associate professors. Since, the course is taught as per CBME pattern, activaties like early clinical exposure, seminars, group learnings etc are held.

1.I had applied for this course in IGGMC ngp as well as DMIMS wardha but the fees infrastructure of this institution was higher than the college I'm studying. 2.
