Remarks

Positive:- Labs are spacious and has latest equipments. Library has a good number of books. Convenient to travel from all three railway line. Located in heart of the city. Negative:- Canteen not good. No sport ground. Fest not that glitz and glamour.

Course Curriculum Overview

2

The curriculum is vast. Many not required subjects but a few subject which will give the learners a knowledge about automobile engine, design, maintenance, safety etc. Two unit test are held in one semester and the average of two test marks are reflected on the MarkSheet. Even if you score bad marks in first UT then you can score good marks in next UT and then clear the unit test. End sem exams are conducted twice a year(December & March). Most paper consist of 80 marks & passing marks is 32. A total of 6 KT can be taken to next year or sem but a KT (practical,UT or end sem) in first & second year subject needs to get cleared before applying for third and fourth year respectively. Failure of which may lead to year gap.

Placement Experience

3.5

Zero placement for automobile Engineering students in our college for past 2-3 years & is difficult to get a job holding this degree. Better to do another degree but not Automobile Engineering. Plus the automobile department staff is also not bothered wether the students get placed or not(such bad is the prof). Highly recommend to please if ore this degree as no company or organization take student with an Automobile Engineering degree.

College Events

2.5

The annual fest is Ambrosia. There is a separate technical, sports and cultural fest organized in the college too. The fest lasts for 4-5 days. There are stands,DJ night, PES,Clash if clans and various technical events too.

Fee Structure And Facilities

This totally depends upon caste. It is close to free for SC,ST,OBC. Tuition Fee Waiver Scheme is applicable in this college too. Where a needy student is provided education with a relatively less cost. For General students, the fees is comparatively less than other private colleges.

Fees and Financial Aid

SC,T,OBC students gets discount through central government schemes. I have no idea about EWS(Economically weaker section) and Maraha quoto as it is being introduced after I passed out from the college. If unable to pay fees in full payment the college helps to pay it in part payment without any extra cost.

Campus Life

3

There are adequate number of labs and all the labs have adequate number if equipments. The computer lab too has a good number of computer. Sports activity is little less in the college but a separate sport room is provided for the students. The labs almost have best and latest equipments.

Hostel Facilities

2

I haven't opted for hostel. Some of my friends have stayed in the hostel and they say that it is good. No sign of ragging at all. Students are friendly. Rooms are clean and airy. Located in convenient distance from college too.

Alumni/Alumna

The senior student are extremely helpful. Till the time they are in college they are helpful but as soon as they step out they cut all the ties with college because the automobile department professor are so bad no student want to keep a contact with them. No alumni network or association in this college.

Admission

Since it's an engineering college you have to give Engineering entrance exam (MHCET) to get into this college. MHCET is the sole criteria for getting into this college. Then you will have to wait for merit list if your name appears then you are eligible for admission if it doesn't appear then you will have to try through management quota or through minority quota (Muslim in this college).

Faculty

1.5

Poor. Very few are student friendly rest are only in the college just to torture students in the name of assignment, attendance, term work etc. Expect few of the teacher none can teach the subject properly. Some teachers are extremely helpful, caring and friendly but the bad teachers are so worse that overall faculty can be termed as bad.
