Kongu engineering college - student review

Curriculum influences the most because it sets the roadmap. The curriculum is well structured. Some course can be taken in depth instead covering only the basics. Timings for exams are properly examined. Courses are not upto the level of real world applications

Companies like surveysparrow, eshipz, soliton, and more companies provide intern offer (atleast 50 companies) . We have done several projects and published in the conference which helped us to contribute something to the society.

From 6th sem onwards we are eligible for placements. I have attended about 14 companies and got selected in 15 th company Highest package in this college is 11LPA Average package 4 LPA I am going to continue with my job after this degree

Academic fee - 1,00,000 rs (management quota - 125000 rs, First graduate - 75000) Hostel fee both men and women - 80000 (90000 for our juniors this may vary*) Scholarships are available like BC/MBC, SC/ST..these kind of scholarships are available.Also some scholarship based on 12 th marks are also available.

Yearly once there will be big event(Enthusia - event name). Two years once there is a mega event(swaram - event name). There is a large library for accessiblity of books nd journals. We have smart boards at every classroom which are more usefull. Sports are encouraged more in this college. By joining or running clubs in this college student enhance their interpersonal skills.

Room facilities are good Meals are good only at afternoon.Break fast and dinner are not upto the level. Hostel registeration is done at administration office. Choosing local pg or room is better than staying in hostel.

I have applied for two colleges BIT (Bannari amman Institute of technology) and Kongu engineering college. My priority was BIT due to their upper hand in infrastructure but due to sime reasons I was rejected by that college and joined in this college. I have joined to this college by councilling conducted by ths government.

Relationship between the student and teacher is healthier. Since all the teachers are friendly there is no liked or disliked like categories. Some students only fail to clear the exams. Exams are conducted in a strict manner. Maximum all the exams are easier.

Gym facilities are available in both boys and girls hostel We are not allowed to roam at night. All things are over within 7 pm. There is no famous spot around the college or inside the college. This locality so safe to roam at night due to the higher security standards provided by college.
