Entrance Preview

I took MPPET exam for this college. I scored 70 out of 200.i chose B.E.(mechanical engg.) because mechanical is the requirement of almost all industry.

Internships Opportunities

The college provides company placement and internship in companies like TCS, Accenture, Birla soft ,CMC, HCL general stipend offered is 3000-5000 per month.

Placement Experience

The Training & Placement cell of the institute provides soft skills training, career guidance, industrial visits, summer internship and placement assistance to the students. Some of the major recruiters of the institute are TCS, Accenture, Birla soft, CMC, HCLI 100 students got placed in 2015 among different branches. All companies gave about 2-5 lakhs package per annum.

Fee Structure And Facilities

The fees is feasible according to courses offered and infrastructure of the college the tution fees of each semester of BE is 25000,development fee 2500 caution money one time -1500 (refundable) total-29000, Bus Fee : -Rs. 5000/- per.

Fees and Financial Aid

The scholarship is provided by M.P. government to required students to those whose family income is less than 200000 per annum.

Alumni/Alumna

There is strong network of alumni about 50 students are there. Many senior students are studying abroad. More than 370 former students of Mahakal Group of Institutes have completed or are pursuing high studies like M.S. / M.Tech. in foreign and Indian Universities.

Exam Structure

The exam is held in semester basis in which practicals and theory papers are held separately. There is ample gap for every exam each semester. Practicals are held according to rgpv rules.

The absolute truth about SIRT

Placement Experience:

From 7th semester students will be getting placement notification, there is an app called pod AI to monitor your placement companies and how much you applied, and your eligibility for company, if you are from electrical branch you will recieve polycab , EXL , a1 fence , solar square . There was about 10 companies visited but absolutely 0 opportunity in IT companies if you are from electrical branch. Average branch package is 2.4 lacks per annum About 50% of students got placed My plans after degree is to go for off campus opportunity

Nice college

Placement Experience:

After completing the four-year degree, the college does provide placement, but I don’t know much about it yet because I haven’t seen many companies visiting the college. So far, I’ve only seen four or five companies. There aren’t any major companies coming in. Also, when placements happen, it’s unclear how many students got placed, how many didn’t, what the packages were, or what the highest package was. From what I’ve seen, the placement seems to be average at best.

The college is good in terms of placement and development of students

Course Curriculum Overview:

The curriculum followed by the college is slightly old in comparision to iits and nits but it is better than most of the remaining colleges. But the curriculum could be improved.The curriculum is based on more theoretical approach and less practical approach for some branches.The teaching methodology is good . Teachers use smart boards if they need. The frequency of the exams and msts are good but they also include demo which makes it hectic.

OCT Bhopal is outstanding!!

Placement Experience:

Highesht package so far has been of 34 lakhs per annum and average though is 6 LPA. This average is considering all departments as for pur department it is of 10 LPA. Wipro, Amazon, Tisco and Mindtree are some companies out of lets say 50 odd which shows up every year. My plan is to do an MBA program and i am preparing for CAT too.

I do not have the detailed knowledge about placements of our college but i guess 900+ companies visits yearly in our college and almost every student gets placed. Placement Experience:

College provide us opportunity to sit in campus placement from 7th semester. There is number of companies visits in college like vipro, redhat,tcs etc. Highest package is 20-25lack per year and average is 5 lakh.my plan is to get directly campus placement.
