Likes

Supporting faculty and teaching quality.
Scholarship for OBC,ST/SC students and other categories provide significant financial relief.
The campus has well-equipped lab and a good library.

Dislikes

While labs and classrooms are functional, some equipment needs upgrading.
Placement support is better for IT related streams, while core engineering placement need enhancement.
The ratio is relatively low , with approximately 2 girl for every boy.

Course Curriculum Overview

The curriculum is comprehensive, covering foundation and elective subjects. it prepares for real world applications, but needs updates in emerging technologies. Exams are semester based, moderately challenging , with room for improvement in practicle learning.

Internships Opportunities

My college offers interships with companies like job sence in roles like full stack web development and software development and data analytics. projects include app development , web sides and debugging , with stipends ranging from 5000 to 10000 rupees.

Placement Experience

Placements begin from 7th semester. Companies visit like yash technologies, appmosis,jaro visit with 5 plus offers made. highest package is 14 lakh per year. and average package of 3 to 5 lakh. around 20 % students are place from college placement.

Fees and Financial Aid

I am pursuing a 4 year B.Tech in computer Science under OBC category. The tution fee is 2000 rupes per year after availing an OBC scholarship of 30000 rupes annually ( original tuition fee 50000 rupee).Additinaly, a refundable caution money depotic of 1500 rupee is required. for examination 1900 rupee per sem or 3800 rupee per year is apply.

Campus Life

campus life is vibrant with festivals like cultural festival including dance,singing etc and technical festival like hacktons,codding compititions etc held in 6 months. The libary is well stocked with books and journals. Classrooms are tech equipped. extraciricular and clubs like club to code , google cloud group etc enhance student life.

Admission

I choose this college for its strong faculty, placement opportunities , and scholarship options. i applied to list of colleges , but this college offered a better curriculum and industry connections. Admission was basedon 12th exam percentages and JEE rank.

Faculty

The college offers a 1:40 faculty student ratio, approaching teachers ,and helpful mentors. exams are semester based. HOD of computer science stream is best faculty. her name is deepaly kalker and i like the way they teach us. and approximately 10 to 15% student struggle in exams.

Night Life

The campus has a cafeteria and library , all closing by 6 pm . hostals have curfews around 10 pm. popular hangout spots include basket ball stadium and cricket stadium and bus yard. the locallity is generally safe for students in nights.

Search for college begins...

Placement Experience:

After 3rd year onwards I think the students are eligible for campus placements. And till now around 90 companies have visited this campus and highest package till now is 70 LPA and average package is 7 LPA. Around 1500 students every year get placed from this campus. And my plans after the degree is either landing in a high paying job or staring with my own startup.

THE REALITY OF VIT BHOPAL

Placement Experience:

from the 6 or 7 semester the student become eligible for campus placement.Companies like dell,amazon,zomato and mass recruiters like tcs and conginizant also come . this year the highest package was 70 lpa and 8 lpa is the average package offered 1200 across offfers are made 60 percent of students are placed generally sde role is offered my plan is to get a decent job

About placement, I would say companies used to visit. If a person is serious and want to grow then he has the opportunity to face the FAAN companies only if he has scored the gpa above 9 in whole 8 semsters.

In my college the placements are very good as this year many students went with more than 70 lpa package which means the placements in the future will can cross 1 crore which is very good for me, the percentage is not told to us , my plans after degree is to open a startup company

In my collge Students typically become eligible to participate in campus recruitment drives from the 7th Semester(start of the 4th year).However , the collge starts preparation much earlier through Campus Recruitment Training(CRT) and soft skills classes, which often begin as early as the 1st and 2nd emester to ensure students are industry-ready. Total Offers:For the 2024-2025 cycle,the institute reported over 300 to 450+ offers across various branches. Key Companies: IT/Software:TCS(Top recruiter), Infosys , Wipro , Capgemini , Cognizant ,HCL , Accenture, Cisco , Tech Mahindra Netlink ,Jaro education , Logical Softtech , KD provission , Kadel labs , Blueflames and many more. Total Companies Visited: Over 200+ companies (including 150+ core companies). The salary trends vary significantly between on-campus mass recruitment and off-campus offers. Verage package 5.0 - 9.0 LPA. Approximately 75% to 84% of eligible students get placed.The CSE and IT branches see the highest success rates(often 80%+), while core branches like Mechanical and Civil focuses more on the core companies placements. I got an offer at cognizant during my college so currently I am not looking for the higher studies.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I would rate it 6/10 because first year subjects and all are mostly unnecessary i guess. Its not required that much. There should be more focus on coding and problem solving in college which is often neglected.frequency and timing are fine of exams.

i am joined this college after reserving a seat for 5000/- as advance fee. The admission process is easy but selection of colleges is difficult.
