Course Curriculum Overview

3

Deciding for a college course to take is quiet challenging for a students due to the many influencing factors or reasons in the environment that may affect his own preference. since it was one very old college and all my pu teachers suggested it make me easy to choose Mlacw for my degree. And coming to my family financial status it was quiet less fees than other college and we could afford more expense . And the dad works in the same area which make my parents say ok to that college. They simply teach by seeing books since we are in degree thats wrong

Placement Experience

1

We had so many companies came for placement but we are allowed to select in only any 2 companies because so the others can join through placement which was wrong. after our placement selection also we have to go for the company for furthur rounds if so what that need of doing placement.

Fees and Financial Aid

I joined for Bsc (PCM) it was for three years, and my 1st year fees for 13500 2nd year fees was 12500 and 3rd year fees was 11900. There were no tuitions conducted but for every sem exam fees were collected according to my university. And for PUC the fees for 55000 when i studied degree if u got merit it may decrease to 5000-10000. And for degree Bcom when i checked for this year it was 75000-80000 for non merit students and for merit it will be around 50000-70000.

Campus Life

4

we had our college fest in january . All the national festivals are celebrated but only with teachers NCC students . we had shankranthi celebrated there. we liked that so much we can dance click photos and enjoy. we had all kinds of books available there . Extracurricular we had NCC where they used to take for camping also.

Admission

I didnt apply to any other college because i find this suitable for me they had the course which i needed all though i think of KLE which i should have applied and it was near to me but as i have know i didnt find it as a good environment for students to study there. Admission process was quiet easy there were no exams conducted before admissions . Just they saw the previous marks which we scoured and we got admission there. we directly filled out the application form and paid fees, later they took my photo for college Id thats it . It was quiet easy.

Faculty

The faculty to student relationship were very good, after class hours we can ask our doubts any time . we had a teacher in our physics department her same was sarmista sahu she was an excellent teacher she even wrote a text book for all sem in BSc (physics) which was very helpfull for us all the topics were explained easily. And in maths department we had a teacher by the Nanda she was the HOD of our departments her teaching was good but very arrogant so most of us didn't like her. In Bsc we had 3years in each we had two semester. so total of 6 exams for 3 years and in 3rd year we had 2 papers of each subjects which was quiet challenging. Most of us passed in the exams but in some subjects we passed but we will be having 3 years andd we can clear .

Night Life

5

We didnt had any gym, but cafeterias was there palav was our favorite with affordable price also, we didnt hangout in library only when the exams are near we go to library for clamness to study. No hostel were there. outside of ur college we had a huge ground we used to sit and chitchat there. if was very safe environment and ours was a womens college so safety was thee first priority there. we used to go and eat pizza near by and had so many famous temple and shopping place were too many.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Semester 4, my course included the concepts of Radioactivity which has been a fascinating topic for me, and wanting to learn that aspect pf chemistry was a reason that lead me to choose this course. the curriculum is not sufficient or up to date for current further academic pursuits. the course curriculum should include more scientific instruments commonly used in labs and the teachers could preferably be more positive with their attitude and create an atmosphere where learning is chased. where the teaching doesn't feel like they're just doing their job and finishing their hours by reading ppts off a laptop. the exams themselves are fair and well prepared. perfectly balanced to score based on how much you've learnt.

From final year the students can apply for the placements. At least 60% should be there to be eligible for the placement. Many companies provides placements in this college like infosys, Accenture, Mahindra and many more. The average package as per the company is 200000 per annum and the highest package is 700000 per annum. My plans after getting the degree is to go to abroad for my post graduate.

Placement Experience:

Usually there are placements in our college. If any student does not get a placement the faculty guide us what we can do next like the companies in which we can apply and how we can go further. In my course after finishing the bachelors degree you can further study masters it is available in our college itself or yoj can aplly for companies but if you do your masters you have a better opportunity and high posts for you better career. The course is of 8 semester you become eligible for campus placements in 7th semester. The last year that is seventh and eighth semester is basically practical and lot of projects provided. There various companies are seniors have applied and offered for example the genetic company in Bangalore that is Med gen. The highest package offered is 50000 and the average starts from 25000 placements in college. There is 75 percentage of students getting placements from our college. My plans after getting the degree is to go for further studies and do the masters after that i would like to do job along with my phd, this is my plan after getting my bachelors degree.

Most of the students after completing four years, continue to stay here to get Masters degree after one more year and pursue PhD from world renowned institutions. Very few people (<7/100) per batch will sit for campus placements and most of them will be selected with a good annual package of 30000 at an average. Some students, mostly Physocs majors can give government exams like ICRB, GATE to join ISRO and BARC as scientists
