I got confirmed admissions from Great Lakes, SIBM Bengaluru. I chose IMT G instead of the other two colleges for two primary reasons. The first one was that I wanted to enroll in a 2-year course, and Great Lakes was offering a 1-year course. So, Despite the average package of both colleges being similar, I chose IMT. Secondly, IMT G was closer to my home(Delhi) as compared to SIBM Bengaluru. So I didn't choose SIBM Bengaluru. I did my preparation with my job. So, I had limited time. But I still feel that I wasted a lot of time. If I had utilized my time a little better, I would have gotten into one of the top IIMs. Also, I focused more on quants as compared to DILR and VARC. I scored 94.36 percentile in CAT and I got a shortlist from IMT Ghaziabad. During my time the admission process was online and we had a WAT (Written test) in which a topic was given to us and we had to write in about 400-500 words in 30 mins. After that we had our Personal Interviews in which your general knowledge and the knowledge of your background is tested. But from this year onwards the process is offline and on your arrival in the College for the process, firstly you have WAT then Group discussion and then Personal Interview which is not that easy to crack.
