- Course curriculum was amazing and my interpersonal skills we very well developed. The faculty's expertise and teaching methods was okayish although we had to study much of it by ourselves. The only course I felt made justice was Soft skills course

- We never had AC classrooms for our batch after paying so much of money
Course Curriculum Overview
I don't wanna be honest, but I felt that I didn't really learn much in the course, hadn't I taken it seriously I woulf have understood the course but I cleared my degree enjoyably. Some course content was very interesting and most of the questions are application based. So, it's based on your understanding level of the classes and the course. The timing of exams is bad. Sometimes they burden us too much by keeping 2 exams a day ; morning one and afternoon one, this part turns out hectic and we won't even have a day off to prepare in between the exams. So, for me it's terrible and the exam schedule needs to be properly planned and made.
Internships Opportunities
Most of my batchmates joined zomato for internship as an accounts manager role. I'm not much sure about the stipend but they were given assurance that they would be given job opportunity after their internship tenure. I took an internship off campus as there were no good companies to get in.
Placement Experience
We have 6 semesters together and our placement eligibility starts from 5th semester. VSB in VIT-AP does not have much placements and most of the students have opted for higher studies and did not involve themselves in the placements. Companies did visit for internships and placements like PWC, Zomato, Edveda and some more. I have got my degree and I am currently pursuing my MBA. After my bachelors in commerce, an MBA feels like a cakewalk. I am very sure that I would be getting into a financial consultancy firm after my MBA.
Fees and Financial Aid
There are no reservation benfits, I joined this university as my friend recommended this. Our batch for Bachelors in Commerce was the first one in VIT-AP University. No registration fees, No lab fees So I have been a part of the G.V Scholarship programme for students who have percentile in class 12th above 80, where tution fee waivered and bus facility is also free if you are a day scholar. But since I was a hosteller I had to pay for hostel and mess fees which were around 1,02,000 for 2Bed Ac Room and 68,000 for Veg mess( for 1 year). Caution deposit of 15,000 was credited back to my account after I graduated. Day scholars had the most of benefit as they didn't have any payments
Campus Life
Annual and tech fest are V-TAPP and VITOPIA where reknown celebrities come and perform. VIT-AP is nothing less when it comes to fests and events. These are typically held in Decemeber, Jan or March-April period. The accessibility and range of books and journals is amazing, a large collection of books is available. Classrooms have a projector and only some are air conditioned. We have various sports and extracurricular activities conducted every week. Inter-college sports tournaments ans many more. We also have our very own NSS, Rotary club and many clubs and Associations for every state, dance, music, drama, anime and a lot more!
Hostel Facilities
I was in a 2beddes AC room. The room is basically very congested and does not have much ventilation and space. The room resembles a small cuboid or a matchbox. Everyone have washrooms unattached although clean. The bed is kinda above and the cupboard, study table are below the bed, it's basically like some attachment which you see in chinese dramas of girls dorm. And with a mirror inside the room. We have hot water facility for both drinking and bathing and that's actually a good thing. Meals were good for first few days but later they started to turn out very bland with no taste, we felt as if the same routine food was given everyday.
Admission
I am a CA Aspirant and joined this university as they claimed that they had CA coaching as well in alignment to our degree. But as soon as I came to class, I was disappointed with the strength and also when I learnt that we had no CA coaching since there were only 2 people who enrolled for it. We had to pay 30000 extra for coaching. I did not feel it was worth and dropped out from the coaching. I just did my degree now which basically doesn't feel much useful. I was about to join Masterminds for CA coaching but since that college doesn't have campus life, my dad encouraged me to join here after my friend's recommendation. Apart from this, I did not apply to any other college or university. Speaking in terms of a management student, I don't think we have any entrance exam for VIT-AP School of Business. You just have to apply and based on your previous academic performance and personal interview you will be getting your admission approval mail.
Faculty
The faculty here are amazing. The relationship between them and the students is very approachable and friendly. They are always available at their cabins. Each and every faculty had their own way of teaching and dealing with things, so I did not have any faculty who I liked or disliked in particular. Although my favourite was Prof. SAMUEL JOHNSON who was a great teacher, his classes were always interactive and he made sure that everyone participated in the class. He was practical and the way of teaching was unique and amazing. So there are CAT-1, CAT-2, FAT exams. The difficulty level depends on the faculty and how they set the paper. Most of our classmates managed to clear the exams except for few. The exam paper, difficulty level, the evaluation, everything depends soley on the faculty. So for me, if studied one night before also, I managed to pass the exams with a good score. It's all based on how you manage
Night Life
I have never been to the college gym, so I have no much idea about that. Although the gym in Girls hostel closes at 11 PM. Cafeterias and public areas are closed by 9 PM I stayed in Ladies hostel- 1 and the curfew was till 8:30 PM. Famous hangout places is near AB2 auditorium, Food street and rock plaza which has many varieties of food available. Best spot for food lovers. Roaming outside the universe at night is not at all safe for women. Roaming in a group with guys is better than going alone. Eatstreet, PVP Mall, Trendset, Rajiv Gandhi park are some routine spots. Also there is an underrated restaurant named "Under the woods" only for vegetarians. The food is amazing.
