My academic journey review

The specific aspects of the curriculum that influenced my decision to choose this course and college is its rigorous and studios curriculum wherein the students are very much involved in their academics. The regular presentations, regular exams are very much helpful in building insightful and creative thoughts on the students mind

Many international and national level internships are available. We have faculties who train us to crack microsoft internships and google internships through campus. Last year we had a student who cracked microsoft internships with a stpend of 10 lakh +.

From semester 6 onwards the students are eligible for campus placements. Many companies like meesho, myntra, morgan stanley, wipro, tata, Infosys and many other tier 1 companies visit here. Both mass hiring and product companies hire students from here. The highest package for 2025-26 has been 56 lpa as of now and avg package is around 21-30 lpa. Last year for 2024-25 batch students, the percentage was between 75-80. My plan is to get into a product company after completing my btech.

For four years, my tuition fees is 198000 while my hostel fees will be around 200000. The caution fees for both academic and hostel is around 18000. My friends have taken admission in category 1,2,3,4 and 5. The tuition fees vary for different categories. For category 1, one has to pay 198000, for category 2 it is 307000, for category 3 it is around 4,02000, for category 4 it is around 4,78000 and for category 5 it is over 500000.

Many events are held in the campus throughout the year. From freshers to Vitopia, we have almost event every other week. The range and accessibility of books and journals is quite good. We can find every good and effective book inside the library.

Inspite of viteee, I had appeared for jee and BITSAT. Through jee I wasn't getting cse in Nit Rourkela while I was getting mechanical there, and I am very much particular about my branch. So I dropped not Rourkela. As of bis, the tuition fees was way too high for my family to support, eventually I dropped this though. The reason I chose vit ap over others is because of his cost effective tuition fees plus it's good placement records Yes I was rejected by many IITs as well. Tp take admission here, we have to apply for viteee and quality the exam to take admission here.

There are total 3 exams in a semester. Cat 1, cat 2 and fat. Cat 1 and cat 2 are class assessment exams which are of 50 marks each. While fat exam is of 100 marks. We have both lab fat and lab cat as well. The faculties are good friendly and are helpful as well

We have a gym in every boy's hostel and girls' hostel. The gym has almost all the equipments and I well maintained. The cafeteria is good as well. We have to be inside our hostels by 7;30 in the evening and our classes are scheduled from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. in the evening.
