Remarks

There are lots of positive things about the college from environment to faculty to food to knowledge to experience and many more things but there is very less place to visit near college and sometimes there is less space for parking.

Course Curriculum Overview

The course is good as an undergraduation course. You get to learn alot in college life and college life at tips is best and the faculty is also supportive and knowledgeable. You will definitely get alot of knowledge.

Placement Experience

The placements are also good. Most of the big MNC’s like Amazon, Wipro , Infosys , BT India come and organise pool campus drive. The process is bit long and it basically test your patience level. Also our college organise internship camp every year and stipend depends on the work you are doing.

College Events

Every year our college celebrates fiesta and many popular singers come and make the fiesta more exciting and amazing. Also there is annual fest and Dj nights so that you can enjoy your college life and never get bored.

Fee Structure And Facilities

The fees is bit high for most of the people. The fees is around 80K. Students can take loan from banks at an nominal interest rate in order to study in any university. Fees is payable after every 2 semesters.

Fees and Financial Aid

College doesn’t provide any loan facility right now. But the students can take bank loan which is easily available and at very nominal interest rate. I haven’t availed any loan so I don’t have much idea about that.

Campus Life

There are lots of extracurricular actually students can join or be a part of. Students can also join societies and clubs in order to participate in different activities. You can join Debate society, Dance society and all.

Alumni/Alumna

Yes, the senior students are really helpful and will always help you whenever you need. Talking about my experience i used to take notes and all from my seniors at the time of internals and externals.

Admission

There is an exam of CET Held by IPU every year and based on the exam you get the rank and accordingly you get the college. The rank should be as low as possible to get the best college. Your previous year marks doesn’t really matter.

Faculty

Talking about faculty in tips the professors are highly qualified and have done phd in different fields. Everyone is specialised in some subject or other. They will always help you whenever you need.

some classroom and campus facilitues need improvement
placement oppotunites can be improved, esecially for student looking for better corporate exposure.
the evening college schedule can something be inconveibient because many acitvity and oppotunities are generally more accessible during regular college hours

Life at South Campus

Likes

The crowd at venky is great, diverse crowd.
The campus is well maintained and is one of the bests at DU.
Opportunities provided to students are great

The attendance policy is a little strict for 1st and 2nd year

The course provides a comprehensive image of finance and management, though after NEP, the curriculum seems a little irrelevent. The exams are conducted twice in a year, 2 sems per year, they conduct mid sem exams as well.

College is improving day by day teaching faculty is also helpful it recently got A++ NAAC credition as well
Overall college is good if you have good peer group.
Near to north campus so doesn't really feel much of headache if you want to visit regularly.

Dislikes

Shadara is not a good place to spend your college life.
Evening college crowd has made the reputation of the college bad.
Near by area is not safe for Girls in late hours.

Placement Experience:

6th sem is the first time college placement are proceeded . Companies are not impressive and mostly are entry level jobs such as cold calling and such which they offer. Highest package was 4 lpa and avg was 2.5 only. Around 60 percent students gets placed.

The online learning platform is easy ans simple to use students can acces lecture and assigments and study materials anytime
Faculty mambers provide clear guidance through online sessions and study materials they are supportive
They procides recording that was very usefull when we will not attend the live class

Dislikes

Since the classes are in online and also there are some techical issues while taking classes that will interupt classes
placement support is limited in online classes so students need to search for internships and job oppertunities on their own
Its deffecult to connect student coordinators while we wnat exam timetable etc they are too slow

I choose BCOM because the want to take ACCA after BCOM it will helps to improve my career and give a better job and also BCOM is the basices of ACCA like law, financial managment, taxation etc .The curriculam provide strong fountation for students who wamts to pursue higher studies such as M.COM , MBA and professuonal couses. BCOM helps to understanding real world bussiness practices , accounting sytem etc . on;ine study material recordimg leture and assigments also make flexible for students to study their own pace. exams are usually conducted semister wise the difficulty level 0of exam are moderate if students were attend the class regulary and prepare well

Faculties are best. They teaches you and create never ending bond with you.
Infrastructure is good but the area is small , the greenery is amazing and flowers are sooo sweetest.

Dislikes

No hygiene in canteen. Avoid eating from canteen.

The curriculum is highly relevant notably the focus on real world applications and Advanced Financial reporting. It prepared me well for professional life. Improvement is needed in digital tool exposure.

i dont like any thing in this college

there is a green gaurden in my colleges old campus
we have a big ground in our college which i like i can play football there
they make an football ground in old campus which is good

techers are not good in teacing they just want to let it go the classes
my college was too small and the classes are not properly furnished for my class size
there is no place for sit in the shade or to make our mind diverted or have fun and the canteen is worst of old campus

i am from commerce background i want to do eco honers but in 12th i dont have mathematics so i cant then i decideid for b. com honers but i aloted the b.com program which is my 3rd priority umm i leanrd new things in my ncc and with my friends there are very less college activities to i dont know how to make my college life good and make some experiences they can make us travel with them to the real buiseness or any factory or a relay paper work from any company i want to do a camp in jab which is good for my ncc life but it is during my exams thats why i cant did that camp yet

i liked their faculty member and staff , they are played with students and taught as a friend
i liked canteen service and their foods it is hygienic but canteen infrastructure is not good
i liked their ground its have bollyball court basketball court badminton court and cricket ground also and they provide gym in college

i didn't like their campus because its not too much big
and college provide which lift service is not working properly
their bathroom is not too good and not too much hygienic

i choose bcom hons and all teacher are provide their 100% on their courses but neet to improve in practical exam because some computer not working and teacher teach students in one computer but there is no difficult paper according to time some time it's lengthy.
