Likes

I like the campus and the professor teaching style
Bangalore university is the good but compare to mysore university it's management working is little bit slow
In my class most of the students are girls only it looks like 3:1 Ratio

Nothing specific but please update to students
Most of the colleges are giving placement but in my college I didn't get any placement
In my college there is no intership that is the one thing I don't like

Course Curriculum Overview

In exam time there are very strict and they won't allow to turn back side also ..some time question what we are practicing that one it won't come important questions that won't comes in exam And also Bangalore urban is very good environment to learn more

Fees and Financial Aid

I studied in Bangalore university and the college fees was 12500 per year and also for semister exams we have to pay separately something around 1200 to 1500 In the final year for exam fees it will be double

Campus Life

Basically for all government holidays they are giving leave but they are not celebrating sometimes they arranged events and celebrating some students are singing, dancing drama some activities are made And in library they are providing Books also that also one plus point for students Sports also am participating all are participating in kabbadi through ball,chess etc

Admission

Because that college is very near to me and it's comfortable for travelling that' the reason I choose that college basically I am not rejected from any college as usually same admission procedure they followed they need transport certificate original documents and photos and signature

Faculty

In my college time we are 6 friends we are studying and we giving our best also in exam time we are reading ,in internals we are submitting projects .. For 1st semester there are 6 papers that is kannada English physics chemistry mathematics and additional subject apart from that practical exams also is there for bsc

Night Life

For the students hotel is important because morning time some students they didn't had breakfast and lunch also they didn't carry nearby vasu hotel ,srinivasa hotel and bhagya laxmi hotels they are giving good foods with offering price we are enjoying

My Regret of joining St George School of Business.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Semester 4, my course included the concepts of Radioactivity which has been a fascinating topic for me, and wanting to learn that aspect pf chemistry was a reason that lead me to choose this course. the curriculum is not sufficient or up to date for current further academic pursuits. the course curriculum should include more scientific instruments commonly used in labs and the teachers could preferably be more positive with their attitude and create an atmosphere where learning is chased. where the teaching doesn't feel like they're just doing their job and finishing their hours by reading ppts off a laptop. the exams themselves are fair and well prepared. perfectly balanced to score based on how much you've learnt.

Placement Experience:

From final year the students can apply for the placements. At least 60% should be there to be eligible for the placement. Many companies provides placements in this college like infosys, Accenture, Mahindra and many more. The average package as per the company is 200000 per annum and the highest package is 700000 per annum. My plans after getting the degree is to go to abroad for my post graduate.

Placement Experience:

Usually there are placements in our college. If any student does not get a placement the faculty guide us what we can do next like the companies in which we can apply and how we can go further. In my course after finishing the bachelors degree you can further study masters it is available in our college itself or yoj can aplly for companies but if you do your masters you have a better opportunity and high posts for you better career. The course is of 8 semester you become eligible for campus placements in 7th semester. The last year that is seventh and eighth semester is basically practical and lot of projects provided. There various companies are seniors have applied and offered for example the genetic company in Bangalore that is Med gen. The highest package offered is 50000 and the average starts from 25000 placements in college. There is 75 percentage of students getting placements from our college. My plans after getting the degree is to go for further studies and do the masters after that i would like to do job along with my phd, this is my plan after getting my bachelors degree.

Life at IISc- Pros and Cons

Placement Experience:

Most of the students after completing four years, continue to stay here to get Masters degree after one more year and pursue PhD from world renowned institutions. Very few people (<7/100) per batch will sit for campus placements and most of them will be selected with a good annual package of 30000 at an average. Some students, mostly Physocs majors can give government exams like ICRB, GATE to join ISRO and BARC as scientists
