Dislikes
- The fees structure of college is very bad OPEN Category students have to to pay a very high fees as compared to SC ,ST category , regardless to their income
- The college have infrastructure and funds but they don't use it for the welfare of students , there is way ti much corruption in college
- Dew teacher staff members are good at teaching but most of the teachers don't have any interest in teaching , in starting they don't take classes and at the end of semester they rush to complete the syllabus
Course Curriculum Overview
Courses are designed according to the practical and theoretical knowledge There is good practice for the practical classes and also thery classes are taken separately The practical knowledge is applicable in the real life that they are related to agriculture There is need to improve the teaching style of the teachers and need to give more practical knowledge to students The timeline of exams is good and difficulty level is also acceptable
Internships Opportunities
Internship opportunities are very few in the college and if there are then they are unknown by the students Matketmirchi company provides intership to students the task is all about marketing and selling the biotech products related to agriculture
Placement Experience
There are placement in the college The college conducts interview of the students and various biotech companies visit the college to conduct interviews in the college to select the students that are good at marketing , knowledge and work are selected by the companies Agroone , Byers seed , etc companies visit college Approximately 3lakh package is given The students are selected in basis of interview not on persentage
Fees and Financial Aid
There is a semester wise fees structure in the college , two semesters in one year , fees for 1st semister of the year is 12000 approx for open category students , and 8000 for the second semister of the year The fees structure varies for the various categories of students like SC ,ST , OBC , EWS , OPEN , ICAR etc. There is a scholarship for SC , ST , OBC , EWS OPEN Category students don't get any scholarships
Campus Life
College life is very good various festival are celebrated in the college like Ganesh chaturthi and Shivaji Maharaj Jayanti College also arrenge Annual social gathering in the college , there are various University sports every year in the college and university culture programs Approximately every book and journal is available in the university liberary Students run students welfare group in the college but they don't have any kind of work Classrooms are good and have advanced technology for teaching like computer tv etc
Admission
This is a college at the University and have a good reputation therefore I chose this college and this college also provide NCC , NSS. which I wanted to do Other colleges were also good but they were very long and I was unable to make to one college that I wanted to take admission due to marks Admission process is simple the admission is given on the basis of marks in the MHTCET examination The college is reputed and have a high cutoff
Faculty
College faculty is good few teachers have intrest in teaching , but the other faculty is not that good they don't think about the students they will just do the work as burden and avoid to do work of the students they don't care about the students Approximately 5 faculty members behind 100 students Best faculty is Entomology section because it teaches well Worst faculty is engineering section because thev never took a class Exams are conducted semester wise in the college Level of the exam is moderate Approximately 10 percent students fail in the exam All the exam topic are are relevant to the course
Interview Experience
No there is no group discussion or interview for the college admission The admission is on the basis of marks and the merit list of the exam MHTCET There are three rounds in every round name of the students selected is announced online
Night Life
There is no nightlife as there is no permission to go outside at night in hostels Girls hostel timing is upto 7 pm and 10 on for the boys hostel There is a gym for the students but it is very small and the number of students is high Cafeteria in the college is off for know Library is very good and big it also provide free internet for students
