Course Curriculum Overview

It's pretty decent..I mean it could be a little better..but in my opinion..If you are willing to study by your own and develop skills...There are opportunity out there waiting for you don't just rely on the college

Class Size: 70Course Fees: INR 136000 per year

Internships Opportunities

As I am in my Second sem I don't know much about this topic but I guess there are opportunites for sure for the passionate people I have heard about the Internship and It has mixed reviews not so good not so bad

Placement Experience

The placements are decent I talked to a student of pass you who was offered a package of 4 lpa and he was quite disappointed with that. Some students of 4th year say its good some say there are no placement just leave the college

Fees and Financial Aid

The fees without scholarship is 1 lakh 36 thousand...They give you scholarship if you perform well me CUCET exam. The fees are same throughout the 4 year. You have to maintain 7.5 cgpa to save your scholarship per year

Campus Life

Campus is crowded and people with non academically passionate are full of it..The quantity of good students are lesser than the bad students. The college is lush green people spend most of their time to hangout there with there partners and friends

Hostel Facilities

The hostel facility is decent the cleanliness is there and the security is there..Some wardens are good and some are very unnecceserily strict. It easy to go outside the campus anytime you just need to make out pass for that.

Hostel Fee: INR 106800 per year

Admission

I took admission in this college because I did not get any other college with CSE branch through my JEE score. Just in case of you are willing to take admission in this college make sure that the college is a bit crowded and it can be a problem

Night Life

There is cerfew in the college after 9PM..The guards roam around the college after 9 PM and some nights they don't even let us play outside the hostel within the hostel area. Which I am not in favour of..The canteens are open till 12 AM midnight

The curriculum changes as per the need of the industry norms so that student can attain knowledge about the basics as well as the niche technologies.This is the aspect to choose the course and the lab work and continuous competitions help us with the industry trends. The management could be improved. The frequency of exams help us learn well and difficulty is between easy to medium.

Chandigarh University: Is it worth the investment?

Placement Experience:

The student become eligible for campus placements from 5th semester. The companies visited per year are approximately 200. They claim 100% placements but in reality they divide students into placement and non- placement batches called tpp and ntpp. If you slip up even once, you will be debarred from the tpp group. The highest package is 53 LPA. The average package is 4.5 LPA. Companies like JP Morgan, TCS, Capgemini, PlaySimple, Cognizant, Nokia, Philips, Morgan Stanley, PWC, KPMG, EPAM, Watchguard, High radius, OYO, Coding Ninjas, Samsung, etc have already came. More companies are yet to come. Since the student intake is too much, placements are really hard to get since there is too much competition. In the end, people get hired in mass recruitment companies and get minimum pay of 3-4 lpa. My plans are apply for off-campus jobs and start working in corporate after the degree. If I don't get a job, I haven't decided what I will do next.

Placement Experience:

Placements are good but I am more looking towards offcampus placements. I will do internships from my second year and in first year I'll make the base. I contacted to some of the seniors they said doing hardwork will definitely lead to a good package.

Placement Experience:

After 4 semester students are eligible for sitting in placements. There are alot of company visiting and alot of them take 2-3 with really good package and some handful with good enough packages of nearly10 lpa and the highest package was i think of in last month was of around 60 lpa . My plans after getting a degree is too work my way through companies to a FAANG Companies

From the second year itself students are eligible for campus placements and the companies right now visited are more than 80 + like Amazon Google Microsoft etc the highest package right now in our college 2.5 crore right now as a fresher more than 80% are getting placements which I can I can see and many used to start they own startups and get success in their field as help you teachers them and give them opportunity to learn and do startups and my plan after getting a degree is if you get a placement and huge packages and get a experience from them and to start my own business

My imperfectly perfect College life reviewed for everyone who needs it

Placement Experience:

Though when I got admission in this college, I saw the placement rates were very nice, around 95%, but maybe it was our session's fault. I passed out in 2024, and in that particular year, the placements were not as expected and as seen in the previous batch, so that was something very much disappointing because I paid so much money on a degree, only everything was good about the college, but in the end, placement matters during my session. Usually, the companies that hired for example, 10 students only hired two students.

I didn't apply to any other college. I chose it because it was close to my home. The admission process to give CUCAT exam for which the fees is 1000 rupees. The passing marks are 40 out of 100.
