Likes

The overall infrastructure of the College is pretty good.
The aesthetic and faculty and other staff is very good and approachable
The teaching is all good and study material and things are good

Dislikes

The campus is in very outskirts it is know as AUM where M stands for Mumbai but it is not at all in Mumbai
The road conditions to the campus is very bad it’s nearly 3kms inside from the main road going thorough village and jungles

Course Curriculum Overview

The curriculum from first year till now is kinda good I didn't understand why they include chemistry ann physics in the first year not only here every college do this, and others stuff they increase the difficulty of studies related to computer science level by level which is quite good we're able to understand and apply the knowledge in the real world

Semester 7 is the time when you're eligible for campus placement there are many give names such as Amazon kpmg and different other companies the highest package offered in Amity University mumbai is 45 lpa

Fees and Financial Aid

The fees for my four year tenure of course is 12,81000 rupees, approximately 3 Lakh per year Current I'm in 6th sem Fee days before I paid my fees for 6th sem which is 149500, There is scholarhs Program a? per ur grades in class 12th for first year, And for further scholarship u have to score good Cgpa

Campus Life

The main thing about Amity University mumbai is the infrastructure the overall university is aesthetically best and the clubs and social life is best if you're a extrovert you get to Make good networking and have a fabulous weekend life

Admission

I applied for ram rao adhik but my friends were already there in amity and they suggested for placements amity is quite good then that college so Mainly for placements I chooses amity mumbai over dy patil

Faculty

The overall faculty's of the university are very good they are quite approachable for everything, for studies they provide good notes and study material The exam setup is mainly there is a mid semester exam and one end semester exam per sem The total scoring is of 100 marks per subject Out of which 30 marks is from mid sem and assignment and 70 from end semester

Night Life

The night life near campus is not good you can spend time in the campus in cafeteria as there are multiple cafeteria in the campus so you can enjoy there since the campus is very much inside from the main road the night life is not so good

The Overall experience of an average student

Placement Experience:

7th semester or 4th year makes you eligible for internships and placements. NVIDIA visits our college often i don't know much about the placements as im only in first year but yes the eligibility for the placement is over CGPA which eliminates a lot of students during the placements nearly ~75% of the students get placed (including off and in campus) the other 20% pursue higher studies the other 5% go for start ups

Student become eligibble for compus placements from third year. There are many companies who had came to MIT WPU like Nvidea, CJ , who are offering a pretty good pacakge . Giving the highest package of 51 LPA and average package of 7 LPA. Around 75% of students get placement from MIT WPU.

Amity University Mumbai : is it worth it?

Placement Experience:

As on date, the placements from Amity University Mumbai go quite well, and this is also the reason considerate students get placed after having undergone their seventh semester and beginning of eighth semester. All said and done, to everyone's concern in and outside Campus, companies like Google, Microsoft do not regularly visit Campuses

From 7th semester, the internship opportunities and full time placement opportunities starts to come, For my batch, Veritas, coditas , Worldline, Wipro, KPIT, CrelioHealth, Kylas these companies came with a good package which was greater tha 4 LPA. Highest package was from veritas 12 LPA, Kylas 7 LPA, and average was arount 3.5-4 LPA. Arount 60% students gets placed. I am placed with a good package through campus placement only

Amity University Mumbai : is it worth it?

COVID-19 changed everything, including the college admissions scenario. So, I was in a bit of a mess. I did not study well for exams like JEE, and my 11th and 12th foundational concepts in maths n physics were not so good. MHT-CET was a big gamble, which did not go according to plan. But I had to get into a college, and I wanted one in Mumbai. Amity University Mumbai seemed to be a right choice. It offered direct admissions, which was of great relief for a student like me. It was located at Mumbai, and the structures and facilities were good enough. The admission process was pretty smooth; one applied online, forwarded all documents and then counseling and seat was granted there.
