I like in this college is this is ragging free and independent college
College faculty are best and there are best faculty present here

Some of faculty are just rude and other there some are wanted not to give any freedom to students

Course Curriculum Overview

Course is good they provides us the very good company and internships the internships helps us to good in company and the teachers are good and the faculties are friendly in nature they do the extra classes

Class Size: 40Course Fees: INR 29500 per year

Internships Opportunities

In our college it gives nalco and other projects like ntpc and hal and tata groups which are nearer to our college it helps us to do the internships to college also imfa and rsp are good in internships

Placement Experience

You see actually there are many companies come to our college in my branch so I planned to get a campus in my college if I can't gotba campus I will do the mtech or MBA but there is so chances for campus

Fees and Financial Aid

Yes my college provides us good labs and and also scholarship fees is 29000 now it is fair and there are many facilities for SC and st students caution free is low here at Igit Sarang overall it is a good college college campus are good and these are developing

Campus Life

Actually there are many types of clubs present in this college photography and robotics and others like games and clubs football team and cricket team is wonderful library is good and it also provides many books

Admission

Actually the main reason of choosing the college is my brother was there in my college when I got admission in to college he is final year student so I choose this college after all my brother also encouraged me

Faculty

Faculty are good but some times there are rude teacher and they are very cheap in internal marking but others are good and semester paper checking is good in my college so overall good in my opinion gg

Night Life

Night life in our college if there is no exam we will go to park and enjoy with friends then after 9 pm there is khati in our rooms after dinner there is badminton match and night canteen enjoy is awesome

Honest Opinion in the college

Placement Experience:

There are internship opportunities at the starting of 3rd year and job opportunities at the starting or 4th year. This year many companies visited the campus which include DE Shaw, Flipkart, Oracle, TCS, VISA(for summer internship drive), and various start-ups like Sarvam AI and many more. Highest package was 56.8LPA by DE Shaw. Flipkart took a total of 20 candidates (12 were selected for 34.5LPA and 8 for internship opportunities). Average package going around 9LPA. TCS mass recruited candidates for around 4 LPA, and ORACLE has been consistent at taking candidates for 24 to 25 LPA. Percentage of Students placed for CSE branch is 90. Many students opt for M Tech courses via GATE exam after getting their degree.

Value For money college

Course Curriculum Overview:

I mainly chose this course because the college is Autonomous, which allows them to update the syllabus faster than standard university colleges; seeing subjects like Python and Data Science in the early semesters really influenced my decision. The curriculum is decent for getting placed in service-based companies like TCS or Wipro since they focus heavily on the basics and aptitude, though for high-end product roles or research, you have to put in extra effort yourself. I definitely think they need to reduce the theory load and focus more on practical coding because sometimes it feels like we are just writing assignments instead of building things. Also, the junior faculty rely too much on reading from slides, which really needs to change to make classes more engaging. As for exams, it feels like we are always writing them since we have two internals and one end-semester exam per term. They are moderately difficult and the checking is strict, so you can't slack off, but the tight schedule can get quite exhausting.

The course and curriculum is nice as they are interelated to each other and encourage us to study more and makes us more curious to learn new things but we have some minor course which I don't think it is required for the course and we only have some credits for that course not even exam is being conducted

The excellent university of odisha

Placement Experience:

From 6th sem of completion eligible to sit in placement called by campus placement in university. Companies like accenture, techmahindra,tech bee,and wipro comes for hiring. Highest package till now is 29 lpa and lowest is 1.5 lpa. Average package is 5lpa. Mostly 80 percentage of students getting placement from campus drive. My plan after getting degree is getting job from campus drive.

Placement Experience:

Students are eligible for placement from their 3rd year onwards. It has been only 2-3 months but I have seen several companies arriving at the college, prominent ones being Flipkar,Deloitte, Xerox, TCS, Wipro, Infosys, Microsoft, Dell and several others including startups. There is no accurate data on how many offers have been made this year, but there are rumours that more than 95% of the eligible students have got placements. After getting a degree my plans are if I dont land into a satisfying job then I will start my preparation of the military or start a new business.

Indira Gandhi Institute of Technology is a government college but provides much more facilities like private colleges.

Electrical engineering is a very respected branch in our college as many industries are built near this area which take students from campus selections.
