Course Curriculum Overview

The area which influenced me to choose this course was my passion for medical science. The college gives you a hands on experience for the industry and hospitals. The teaching method is just the old fashion and the exam are too frequent leaving students burnt out

Class Size: 100Course Fees: INR 75000 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

A fee payment of eight semesters which will be seventy five thousand for each semester and the total fees for the course will be around 6 lakhs.There are no additional scholarships provided than merit

Campus Life

I was hesitant at first and did not like myself here in this college but now that I'm used to it, it feels like nothing . The infrastructure of the college is really small and some students may not like it , the facilities are just fine and acceptable

Hostel Facilities

There are 4 people in a room , the quality if food is just fine as compared to the bill, the hostel provision is automatic and a fee of 3 thousand is to be payed The quality of a rented room is better but the expense is high

Admission

U applied to skim Manipal institute of medical science and SRM from where I got confirmed admission but u chose this college as it is nearby by home and it's easy for me and safer for me to study nearby by home . Yes I didnot get a seat in SMIM as i am from OBC category and the seats were limited. The admission process here is quite simple you submit your mark sheets and wait for verification

Faculty

The faculty members of our college is very much knowledgeable and student oriented. There are two exams in a year and 4 sessional or internal exams of 30 marks . The exams are easy if prepared for an average student like me

Night Life

There is no night life in and around the campus or college the gate closes by 7 and the hostel remains closed fir the night until morning. There's gym provided inside the hostel itself , the only place here to visit is the other neighbouring college SMIT

Placement Experience:

from 7th semester students eligible for sitting in placement drive. companies visited like alkem, cipla zydus, zuventus, alembic etc. highest salary is 2.5 lakh per annum and lowest in 2 lakh per annum. 85% students get placed in placement drives remaining students opt for higher studies and family business. my plans after getting degree is to get the experience the field in retail sector. and do my own business . not only I will depend on one business I will generate multiple source of income form my business strategy and communication skills.

The placement of our college is the best in sikkim I would say because not only a high CGPA graduate can get a good salary job but also the low CGPA graduate holds a great chance to secure jobs.. I heard from many senior students and teachers that you are provided job based on your skills

Placement Experience:

Students will be eligible for placement during their final semester. Companies like cipla, zydus, goldencross, alkem etc will visit the college. Initial salary range can be from 36000-15000 per month, which is considered as training fees to the students for initial time with gradual increment.

My college is very good in giving placements to students after completing of 8 semester of 4th year but before getting placement every student have to get industrial training and hospital training to do it

Course Curriculum Overview:

B pharmacy is a professional course and if influenced me to choose this course This course prepares you for real world application starting from communication to discipline every thing is taught in this course one becomes very disciplined and dedicated to this course once they opt for it The improvement required is to give proper gaps between sessional and semister examination as it puts too much stress on student and the faculty at the ending rushes and completes the syllabus in a hurry without proper explaination and just gives ppts at the end and sometimes doesnt even complete the syllabus before semister exams . So i think this thing needs to be inproved Sessional examinations are not too hard but semister examinations are mild to hard

I love my College

Course Curriculum Overview:

Because of my father's Business & I want to do job in pharma company. 60% Boys & 40% girls. Teaching with good way & qualifications are also good. In one semester(6 months) there are two internal Exam & one semester exam & 50% number is needed in each & every subject to pass.

My Experience in HPI

For admission 60% marks in class 12 is required to be obtained. Admission process is not at all hectic and it's easy and convenient. No exams are conducted for admission. Admission are done on merit basis. I didn't get a rejectioj from any other colleges. I particularly applied for this institute as it is one of the oldest and best college in Sikkim.
