Remarks

Teacher are so friendly and kind hearted. Bad thing are there doesn't happen any annual sports.

Course Curriculum Overview

Our exam is conducted semester wise. We complete a semester in 6 months. We have to attend 2 seasonal and 1 semester exam. On practical day external came from different colleges to take our viva for practical exam. After completing BPhram there is also a chance to complete MPharm.

Many companies come to our campus for interview. There is also a option of walk in interview. We have done our industrial training in 3rd year and hospital training in 4th year.

We can attend the seminar. We celebrate World Health Day, Pharmacy Week, Foundation day of our college, Freshers, Farewell. We celebrate Saraswati Puja, Maha Shivaratri, Cricket match, Football Match, Vollyball,Chess, Badminton, Table tennis, There is also coaching of Karate.

Fee Structure And Facilities

We have pay a ammount of 64000 per semester in college and mess bill is different. We can pay via bank transfer,NEFT,Gpay,Phonepay every money transfer app that are available on playstore. They take fine charges if we are late to submit the semester fee.

I donot know abot the scholarship properly. But for the local sikkimish students the semester fee is less.

Hostel Facilities

Hostel is compulsory for students and in each room there are 4 students on different year. We have stay with seniors as well as juniors,which is great we get help from seniors as we as we can help our juniors.

Seniors are so good. We have share room with senior and thke so friendly. They never make us feel that we are juniors.

Admission

I want to be a pharmacist. This college is well reputed. I googled the college name downloaded the admission form filled it and send via post. And we have pay 500 by demand draft and with the admission form we also have to send the demand draft receipt.

Faculty

Our college conduct 6 hours of class. 3 hours in the morning for practical and 3 hours in the afternoon for theory. Our class starts from 9 AM and go on upto 12 noon, after that there is a 1 hr break for lunch. And again from 1 PM to 4 PM. Each theory class is for 1 hr.

from 7th semester students eligible for sitting in placement drive. companies visited like alkem, cipla zydus, zuventus, alembic etc. highest salary is 2.5 lakh per annum and lowest in 2 lakh per annum. 85% students get placed in placement drives remaining students opt for higher studies and family business. my plans after getting degree is to get the experience the field in retail sector. and do my own business . not only I will depend on one business I will generate multiple source of income form my business strategy and communication skills.

The area which influenced me to choose this course was my passion for medical science. The college gives you a hands on experience for the industry and hospitals. The teaching method is just the old fashion and the exam are too frequent leaving students burnt out

The placement of our college is the best in sikkim I would say because not only a high CGPA graduate can get a good salary job but also the low CGPA graduate holds a great chance to secure jobs.. I heard from many senior students and teachers that you are provided job based on your skills

Placement Experience:

Students will be eligible for placement during their final semester. Companies like cipla, zydus, goldencross, alkem etc will visit the college. Initial salary range can be from 36000-15000 per month, which is considered as training fees to the students for initial time with gradual increment.

Course Curriculum Overview:

B pharmacy is a professional course and if influenced me to choose this course This course prepares you for real world application starting from communication to discipline every thing is taught in this course one becomes very disciplined and dedicated to this course once they opt for it The improvement required is to give proper gaps between sessional and semister examination as it puts too much stress on student and the faculty at the ending rushes and completes the syllabus in a hurry without proper explaination and just gives ppts at the end and sometimes doesnt even complete the syllabus before semister exams . So i think this thing needs to be inproved Sessional examinations are not too hard but semister examinations are mild to hard

I love my College

Course Curriculum Overview:

Because of my father's Business & I want to do job in pharma company. 60% Boys & 40% girls. Teaching with good way & qualifications are also good. In one semester(6 months) there are two internal Exam & one semester exam & 50% number is needed in each & every subject to pass.

My Experience in HPI

For admission 60% marks in class 12 is required to be obtained. Admission process is not at all hectic and it's easy and convenient. No exams are conducted for admission. Admission are done on merit basis. I didn't get a rejectioj from any other colleges. I particularly applied for this institute as it is one of the oldest and best college in Sikkim.
