Course Curriculum Overview
The corona virus outbreak influenced me to come in field of pharmacy and the knowledge of medicines prepares me for the real world. The practical curriculum is good the teaching method should be more focused on giving proper knowledge as a lecture rather than making notes only. The difficulty level is very moderate and we give 1 final exam in a year.
Placement Experience
Both b.pharm and d.pharm students are eligible for the placement and the pharmaceutical companies visits our college about 30 students from both departments got selected last year and the highest package was 350000 about 07% of students got selected. I will do job after my diploma.
Fees and Financial Aid
The original fees is 70000+4000 for books in first year diploma in pharmacy. On other year it is 70000 and from some students they also take 65000 each year and from some they take 75000 also as they get the deal The fees of board is 45000 and 25000 is the management fees charged by college, they can take anything from 20000-30000 management fees as they get the deal and they take management fees in cash because they want to surpass the income tax so that they can give affordable courses. An additional 9000 for industrial visit and 500-1000 for other college events like freshers party, farewell party, aagaz event.1000 is practical fees each year. They also charge sessional damage charges each year which is 700 rupees. For any other trip or tour like herbal garden visit they ask for 1000 rupees. The scholarship which students get is rupees 18000-22000 for general and OBC and for SC,ST it is varied from 42000-50000. Financial aid is also available for anyone who brings admissions to the college for each admission the mediator gets 5000 rupees.
Campus Life
The experience is very average nothing like a campus the college is small with old infrastructure every festival is an opportunity for the college to charge money from us for events which are very poorly organised. In library they don't issue you books all books are kept in drawers you can just watch them. Nothing like social group in our college. Aagaz event is for sports and extracurricular activities which is a big event for 4-5 days
Admission
I applied for almost all the colleges of my city and because of my less marks in 12th class maths result all colleges rejected my admissions and at last this college agreed to give me admission with some methods. Other colleges would have been better option because they had city infrastructure and facilities and this college is at rural area,I have to travel out of the city for this college. The admission process starts with JEECUP exam then counselling process begins.
Faculty
The faculty to students ratio is very bad the teachers are very less that 1 teacher is teaching 2 subjects in my class they highly need teachers but they don't pay well that's why they don't get teachers and the teachers don't have proper knowledge. My favourite teacher is Anjali Mam because she is polite and beautiful. Worst teacher is Sarika mam who yells unnecessarily and thinks that she is superior than the chairman of the college. There are three sessional exams and 1 Pre university test and some class test also practical exams are also held in college.
Night Life
I only enjoyed night life during events because I am not a hosteler but I am connected to some hostelers who posts videos about night life of the college. They really enjoy partying late till the night and the college doesn't have hangout places because it is in rural area and it's not safe at all.
