- Small batches for circuit branches other than CS, IT
Course Curriculum Overview
Curriculum is decided by AKTU, it is basic and is needed to be updated. Same old topics being carried out in each and every batch. Exam level is medium. Nothing too tough if one understands the subject.
Internships Opportunities
There are internal internships provided by the college for project development as well as outside interships can be provided by the placement cell, CRPC. Many startups come to the college for internships and there is also a chance of PPO's
Placement Experience
From 3rd year onwards, campus placements start. Many startups as well as most of the MNC's recruit from here like TCS, Accenture, Capgemini, HCL, Cognizant, Infosys and Wipro. For CSE, students also got placed in Amazon, Cisco etc. Around 100% people got placed in '22 batch
Fees and Financial Aid
Year wise fees was 120000 approx. for 2018-2022 batch. First year fees is inclusive of registration fees and caution money etc, was equivalent to 140000 while admission. Every year, examination fees is extra which was paid to AKTU directly. Few students were enrolled through direct admission as well. One can avail state scholarships as per their financial condition and category for each year.
Campus Life
2 fests were held earlier, not sure about now. There is a big library with decent seating capacity with a large no of books to cover. Classrooms are with smart facilities. There are also sport rooms and facilities for cricket, basketball, lawn tennis, badminton and volleyball. There are many student run groups as well administered by faculty. like Pragmatic, spark, Ted x etc.
Admission
Proximity is close to Delhi, good crowd, provision placements when compared to RKGIT and ABES. Admission can be done via JEE now, and there are also direct admissions in few branches based on board percentage.
Faculty
Total batch size for ECE was 186 in 2022. Faculty were around 10-12 in the department. Few teachers are good, others are basic who sticked to completion of their syllabus. Internal exams were conducted on basis of attendance in lectures, final exams were conducted on AKTU in another exam centre
Night Life
Night life is good boys however, for girls, hostels close at 8 PM. There is gym as well as a great cafeteria along with food kiosks at corners. It is safe to roam around the campus, as well as nearest area of RDC.
