- Infrastructure of college is good like for every courses are running on different different buildings to avoid rush and mismanagement.
- College Campus was fully digitilized like use of biometric attendance , connectivity of wi-fi ,use of projectors and smart boards etc.
- Some teachers are GATE qualified in thier respective stream and it helps us to motivate .
Dislikes
- Food of our canteen was poor and unhygenic.
- Lab assistants are not so qualified to show experiments to students.
- Management was very bad because if any poor students failed to deposit money of any semester then management didnt allow that student to appear on semester exam.
Course Curriculum Overview
1) I am science bakground and i intrested in maths and physics . 2) It helps in provide technical jobs like throgh GATE . 3) Focus on experiments rather than theoritical study . 4) 3 hours of exams on every one months .
Internships Opportunities
1) CTTC ( central tool and training centre ) located in bhubaneswar and DVC( damodar valley corporation ) lacated in bokaro , under which i did internship . 2) our final year projects was paper shredding machine.
Placement Experience
1) after 7th semester students are eligible to attend placements inerview ' 2) cognizant , tech mahindra , blue dart . 3) 5 lakhs per annum was the highest and 2.5 lakhs per annum was the average packages . 4) only 1 % or less than them . 5) to prepare for GATE exam and take job in top PSUs company.
Fees and Financial Aid
Academic fees - 100000 /- Hostel fees - 48000 /- ( above mentioned fees like registration, admission,lab etc are included under academic fees ) There is no any system of reservation in case of academic fees and hostel fees i.e all have to pay equal fees. Scholarships are provided by own state's welfare department.
Campus Life
1) Annual function which is held nearly decmber . 2) lots of books are availabe in library . 3) smartboard and projectors are available in classroom. 4)sports like football , cricket, tennis , multi gyms are offered by college . 5 ) no any students run social group , clubs c or student portals.
Hostel Facilities
1) hostel rooms are well cleaned and spacious . Every students have sparate locker and separate bed . 2) meal quality was poor in hostel canteen . 3) registration process for hostel was according branch wise like mechanical students live in one room and other branch students will live in other room i.e no mashup . 4) no i didnt leave hostel before completion of course .
Admission
1) firstly i chose HI- TECH engineering college in bhubaneswar but i saw there is a demand of donation by brokers and management so i quit and and decide to take admissiion in centurion college . 2) I dont reject by any any college my first college was centurion institute technology. 3) there are no such any odd process of admission , generally like others college like in which branch you need to take admission tell them and show intermediate marks to give preference .
Faculty
1) Faculty to student ratio is 1:15 . 2) My Best faculty was Rashmi panda because he teach like a teacher and behave like a friend . 3) In these world no one is bad teacher but one teacher who didnt understand our feelings and that was MK Rath sir. 4) Total 8 semester and exams are moderate . around 10 to 15 students fail to clear exams .course curriculum are helpful to us .
Night Life
1) availabilty of GYM in college which helps make our physical healhs and cafeterias are available where various kinds food are available . 2) Hostel timings was 5pm to next day 8 am . 3) famous hangout places inside campus was cafeteria and outside the campus was bhubaneswar market.
