Honest review about college

I chose this course because it was new and I was curious about but after I came to know that there is no need of specialization because many companies that come for placement are of core CSE. And there are also no well-qualified teachers for specialization. No extra activities related to specialization.

The internship is mandatory in my course. You have to do it twice in your course. First after the completion of 2nd year and second after 3rd year. You can get internships either from on-campus or off-campus. You have to pay for an on-campus internship. It is a kind of course.

There are placements but are average. No big companies are visiting our college. Placements start in 7th semester. The highest package given in our batch is of 8 lakhs. One good thing is you can sit in any placement if it is an open placement i.e. open to every student irrespective of course.

Well at my time fees was 1,40,000 but now it's 1,49,000. Fees change every year. This fees is without a scholarship. You can get a scholarship by JEE ranks, college's competitive test or either through class 12 percentage. Yes there is fine for late fees but can be revoked if a student has a genuine problem.

Fests are held twice a year. First in spring and the other one in August or September after new admission. The fests are enjoyable. You only get books in the first year after that only notes will be provided by the subject teachers. Every class has a smart screen. An athletic meet takes place once a year besides that no sports event. Clubs are formed in different domains and they carry out various activities. Technological trips do take place in the beginning years.

I chose this college because I didn't score well in JEE. There is no process for admission to the college you just have to fill out the forms, give the documents and pay the fees. I filled IPU college too but my rank was not good enough.

The staff is good but some teachers are rude. The exam pattern is you get to give 3 sessional exams for internal out of which the best two are taken. The final exams come from the university. You have to pass the final theory exam or else you will get a backlog. The faculty number is sufficient.

There is one gym in the boys' hostel which is of course not free. Only the mess and centralised cafe are opened till night. The gate is closed to everyone, you can only get an outpass if you have to go outside. The college is fenced so it is safe.
