What Students Say
Likes
- Faculties are very friendly and very approachable and are better at communicating
- the college provides plenty of opportunities and has many clubs and societies to take part in and i personally have been part of many clubs and had a lot of fun the experience has been nothing but gratefull.
- The infrastructure is okaish and can improve a lot but the classrooms and labs are well equipped and does the job.
Dislikes
- Placement training!! The main thing is not concentrated until we move to the final year
- The loads of assignments and the compulsion to write observations and assignments
- Not communicating on time with regular updates about time table and study materials
Course Curriculum Overview
One of the main reasons I chose this was the variety of electives and also the location of the college and tthe curriculum which they follow is from VTU so yea variety of resources available online. Exams are held once every sem and we'll be having 3 internals for formative asessments.
Placement Experience
Students in my college are eligible for placements from the 6th semester. The process is kind off well structured where prior training will be given with ore placements talks and workshops. Many companies have visited like SAP, Accenture, HPe, Salesforce, Squadcast, masai, pentagon space etc. As of now the highest package offered is 7.8LPA by HPe and the avg oayout is 4.5LPA the common profiles i ncluse data analyst, software development, finance and core engineering positions. I as of now am planning to get into a core job too
Fees and Financial Aid
If the student gets through CET the fees should be paid yearly its 1,15,000/- per year and no installments will be provided this fees includes all the tuition fees, reg fee and lab, dev and all fees. Only when the student enters the final year additional 3,000 will be collected as training and placements fee. For SC/ST categories if they have SNQ quota only 30% of the total fees will be collected. There are mainly two scholarships Vidyalaskmi and SSP of which the deatils will be given by the govt.
Campus Life
campus life is really good and vibrant but a lot of it depends on the srudent themseles. The notable events include SAPTHARANG - the annual cultural fest, CICADA- annual tech fest and DEXTRIX. . THe library is very vast with a lot of resources and study space are good and comfortable.
Admission
Of course as I came through CET I had limited options because of my rank and I had other college's like REVA, AMC and BIT in consideration where I could get seat through govt quota. Reva ofcourse famous for its infrastructure and modern records and AMC had good placements support. I chose Atria because of its cost effectiveness, program of my choice and mainly the location considering bangalore traffic and means of transport Atria stood out. The admission process is pretty much the same once college gets listed out in the portal we need to appear in the college and pay the govt fee of 90k in DD and later few registration process and we are good to go. The same process is to be followed for management quota students too
Faculty
The faculties are very friendly and approachable and gets well with all the students and very supportive some of them truly standout like proff venkateshwaralu dasari and go to extra mile teaching students and exams themselves are moderately challenging and bit fair in what is done and we'll be having internals and project work every semester.
Night Life
the gym for boys and girls have got different timings and its common for them both. The area around the campus is totally safe with the police station nearby and BEL road andRT nagar is very nearby so its a good place to be in. But inside the college its normal with the hostel students around.
