DSPMU Overview

Our collage have a seprate building for BBA department . I always wanted to do MBA and want to make my carrer in field of management thatswhy I choose BBA course and after BBA I will go further for MBA . The quality of traching and the teaching methods of our teachers is very good . They use visuals to extrain and relate it with real life in a better way . Our teachers also use to conduct many types of activites in classrooms for students personal development . Our director use to organize different seminars for students carrer development . There are some issues in the frequency and timing of the exams . Many time they use to delay the exams a lot .

Our university do not offer a wide range of internship to students . In the matter of internships our collage is very low . Some time they give some projects on research works or so on . But on general they lack in giving a good internship options from good companies .

The placement offers in our collage is not so good at all . Generally placement get started from the last semesters . Some of the top companies that visited our campus and offers placements to students are ICICI Bank, Wipro , Tech Mahinra , etc. The average salary package offered is between 3 - 8 LPA . The placment rate of DSPMU is high , but the competition is fierce . It varies across departments . Around 80% of students get placed in DSPMU .

Dr. Shyama Prasad Mukherjee University (DSPMU) takes its fees on the basis of semesters . One semester is use to be of 6 months and the fees of one semester is 12,000 ....Therefor the fee of the 1 year is around 24,000 in BBA course . The structure may differ on the basis of different cources . Now ,taking about our exams fees ... In DSPMU exams fees is excluded from this course fee i.e.,12,000 each semester . That means we have to pay our exams fee separately each semester . In one semerster there use to be two exams( Mid - semesters and End - semesters) . We don't need to pay any exams fee for Mid - semesters but for End - semesters we have to pay . Exams fee for General / BC II category is 670 rupees whereas for ST / SC / BCII is 570 rupees . We have to pay exams fees in each semesters . The admission fees in BBA department is around 15,170 rupees which includes buiding funds 200 rupees , Development fund 300 rupees , course fee 12,000 , Library fees 150 rupees ,WIFI 200 rupees , and many more . Our collage provide Bonafide facility to the categories such as ST / SC / BCI / BCII .

Our collage use to conduct fest on the annual basis . Mostly the fest use to be organize in the months of december. The fest use to be of 3 days on different themes and moral values . This 3 days are use to be of all fun and memories . In this 3 days we use to have lot of fun , danes , singing , dramas , faishon , food counters , etc. The range of books and accessibility of books in our library are less interactive . our library use not to be open everyday for the students . Our classrooms are well furished and having AC also . The teaching methods of our professors are also advanced and modern . Our classrooms has visual boad , speaker , mic for lectures . Our university also has separate ground for all the sports events . There are many student unions in our university and student union elections also use to take place . These different student unions use to conduct various students fun activities and take picniks in months of Dec and Jan .

Along with DSPMU ... I also applied to Marwari collage Ranchi . But unfortunately I do not get selected in that collage for admission . So at last I have to take admission in DSPMU . The resion for my rejection is marwari collage is that my 12th percentage was not good enough and the admission was on the basis of 10th and 12th marks . For getting admission in DSPMU ... there was an entrance exam . On the basis od entrance exam score I got admission . The entrance exam was compose with written exam , G D and PI .

Our course structure are designed in a way that there is major subject , one minor subject and some extra value added subjects . The faculty members of our collage are very friendly and supportive . The professors of our collage are very well experienced and supportive at the same time . I just want to mension here some of the faculty members i.e., Ananya priya maan and pallivi maam they are literally some of the most friendly and supportive teachers . We can approch to them any time we need and everytime the try to solve our issue in the best possible way . Overall , the teachers and faculty members of our collage are very friendly in nature and supportive . There use to be two exams in one semerster . The level of examinations questions are not so hard and not so easy at all . In our collage mostly students use to get passed only few sometime get failed .

The admission was on the basis of enterance exam score . the enterance exam was conducted in the university campus only . The admission critera diifers for the different courses ... some may be on enterance exam basis or some may be on the basis of 10th & 12th marks . The enterance exam are composed of written exams , GD , PI . Written exam was not so high just of general level questions . In GD ,group of students 4-5 where get a particular topic and ask for there point of view . In personal interview they ask same questions like your hobbies , why you choose this course , etc . On the basis of this enterance exam they publish three merits list and accondly take admission .

There is no hostel facility in our collage . Is any student wish then he / she have to take room near by collage and stay . There were no Gym at all near the collage but there are 2- 3 parks near the collage where in morning many peoples do there yoga , exercise , walking , running , etc .There are some cafe and restrudent near collage and street food stall . One of the famous place for hangout nearuniversity is Oxygen parks .
