Course Curriculum Overview

5

I think it's prettu relevant for students who aspire to be doctors. It not only increases our knowledge but also shapens our personality into a medical professional. The AETCOM sessions and doctor patient relationship demonstrations are pretty nice

Internships Opportunities

5

You need to do one year of internship in this college itself after the fourth year and you get paid for it as well. Around 7 thousand per month and this doesnt include transport or food. You need to pay for it separately .

Fees and Financial Aid

1st year fee : 1,28,913 College and skill lab fee : 2,00,000 2nd year : 1,93,104 College and skill lab fee : 50,000 3rd year fee : 1,41,000 College and skill lab fee : 30,000 4th year fee : 1,41,000 College and skill lab fee : 20,000 Transport fee per year : 1,10,000 Hostel fee per year : 2,15,000

Campus Life

5

There will be an annual fest which is very happening. They have a huge central library as well as multiple reading rooms for students wanting quiet. Sports are held in competitions as well both inter and intra college. Tournaments keeps happening frequently.

Admission

I applied to all govt and private medical colleges,i got into this college through govt quota. I didnt get a govt college as my rank was not that high. I got into this in the 2nd round of admission through KEA. The admission process is simple. You need to fill up the choice list and forms and submit it.

Faculty

5

Faculty to student ratio is good. There will be like one teacher for every five students in the pactical hall, they are very friendly and approachable. They address doubts with interest and get back to us with suitable answers. The faculty i liked the most was Dr. Vasudha ma'am. She made sure every kid understood the concept and studied accordingly. There will be online mcq exams or offline short exams weekly and 3 internals are conducted. Around 40% students fail in internals while only 5% fail in the finals .

Night Life

5

The libraries close by 6 pm and cafeteria close by 10pm. The mess stays open until 9 pm. You are not allowed outside campus past 7pm but you can take strolls inside at night. There are hangout spots outside college tho. You can get a pass and then go outside.

Course Curriculum Overview:

curriculum is designed to be highly relevant and comprehensive for modern medical practice.Early Clinical Exposure is One of the strongest aspects of the curriculum is introducing students to patients in their very second year. The final year of the curriculum—the Compulsory Rotatory Residential Internship (CRRI) is effective it prepares students for the high-pressure environment of Indian healthcare, making them very capable of handling emergencies and outpatient departments (OPD ). Students feel that lectures are still too focused on passive PowerPoint presentations.Rigorous schedule, integrating "Life Skills" or "Stress Management" modules more formally into the foundation course would be helpful. The university exams (RGUHS) are generally fair but require a very high level of descriptive writing and practical precision.
