DSPMU pro's & con's

I choose the BBA course to build my carreer the management field . From beginning only I was quite interested towards management , markets , leading a team .... thats why I choosen BBA course . Our collage provide a lot of leadership opportunites and real life problem solving techniques . The teachers of our management department are well qualified and experenced . Our management director use to arrange many seminars for us in order to increase our knowledge on real life bases and networking development . Our teachers use to conducts many different types of activites in classrooms for our personal development in management field . But along with all this advantages there are some areas also where there is a need of improvement . Some areas like that are giving library available for students everyday , conducting classes on the regular basis . In our collage ,the classes are not happen in regular basis ...many times our classes use to be get cancelled just before the timing which is very bad behaviour . The frequency and timing of exams are not so accurate because sometime they delay our exams a lot or keep on postponing them which lead to the delay in ending the particular semerster . And even some time they use to take exams so frequently in order to recover the delayed time . The exam of our exams use to be moderate i.e., not so hard not so easy .

Our collage do not provide such an good internship opportunities to students in terms of there development and real life procress . Our collage conducts pre- placements talks where companies interaction section happens before their selection process begains . They provide research projects in which stdents can work with faculty on reseaech prijects .

In our collage there no such a high rate or even not such a low rate of placement opportunities . In 7th or 8th semester the students become eligible for campus placement and in last semester i.e., 8th semester the placement process starts . The higest and average package offered during the recent DSPMU placement stood at INR 9 LPA and INR 4 LPA , respectively . Some companies which visited out campus for placements are Cisco , Infosys , Tech Mahindra , ICICI Bank , Wipro . Our collage DSPMU recored 80 % placement recently for various courses like MBA , MCA and BBA . After getting my degree of BBA from DSPMU , I am planning to pursue MBA from some good B- school .

The year wise fee of our collage specially in BBA department is 24000 which is divided into semesters each of 6 months . At each semester of 6 months we have to pay 12000 and in one year there are two semesters which sum up and in one year it costs 24,000 . This 12,000 of one semester excludes the exam fees . We have to pay our exams fee of each department separately . In each semesters our collage conduct two exams i.e.. Mid- semesters and End- semesters . In Mid - semester we do not have to pay any exams fee but in End - semesters our exams fee use to be around 670 rupees for General and BC - II category and for SC / ST / BC - I it is 570 rupees . We have to pay this exams fee in each semester . The exams fee of all the other deparments use to be same . The admission fees of our collage in BBA course is 15,170 rupees which includes course fee 12,000 , cultural fee 350 rupees , library fee 150 rupees , medical fee 20 rupees , sports fee 350 rupees , students election fee 70 rupees , students unions fee 30 rupees and many others . Our collage provides reservations to SC , ST , BC I and BC II in fees . Our collage provide bonafide benefits to SC , ST , BC I &II categories .

The infrastructure of our collage is very beautiful anf good . There are different buildings for different courses , all the buildings are well furnished and developted . Early the old buildings was not so furnished but the new building are too goods . The size of classes are also big with all the facilities such as well furnished benches , digital boads , projectors , AC . Our collage use to organise grand fest festival on different themes each year in the months of december . The fest use to be organised of 3 days contimous . In fest , all three days use to be full of fun , dances , games , songs , dramas , extra activities , quizes , fashion , food stall and many more . The Library of our collage is not so big even it do not contain all the necessary books accourding to students needs . Library are also not available for students everyday . Overall the facility of library is not so good in our collage . Our classroom are well funished and also contain AC facilities . There is 24hr WIFI connection in classes and campus . Classrooms have good speakers and mic for the lectures even there are cameras in order to maintain decipline . Our collage have a separate playground where students can play what they want . NCC training is also available is our collage . There are many student unions which works for the interest of students . Student union elections also use to take place for seletion of student unions . This student unions works for students rights and deciplines .

I applied two more collages along with Dr. Shyama prasad mukherjee university i.e., Marwari collage and Ranchi womens collage . I got selected in all this three collages .In all this three collages my name was out in there first merits list only . But among all this three collages I chooses to get admission in Dr. Shyama prasad mukherjee university . I personally visited all this three collages , where I found that the infratructure of DSPMU was the best among all of them . The campus of DSPMU was the biggest compared others , DSPMU have seprate buildings for different deparments and courses. The classes and buildings of Ranchi womens collage and Marwari collage are not soo good ,they are even not well maintained . The faculty memers of Ranchi womens collage was also soo rude . One of the biggest region for me to rejecting Marwari collage is environment . The environment around the Marwari collage was not good at all according to me . Compared to Dr. Shyama prasad mukherjii university (DSPMU) ..DSPMU has all this facilities It contains a well furnished infrastructure ,big and beautiful campus , well qualified teachers and faculty members , good canteen facility . This are the some reasons why I chooses DSPMU over this two other collages . I do not get rehections form any of the collage. Our collage DSPMU takes admission in BBA on the basis of taking entrance exam whereas in some other courses direct admission is also done . Specially for BBA they taken the entrance exam in collage before admisson and then according to entrance exam score they publish merits list. They only publish 3 lists and only those students can take admission whose name is there in merits list . Under entrence exam they taken written exams and ther group disscusion and the personal interview .

Our collage faculty members are very friendly and supportive except few . The teaching staff of our collage are also well qualified and experenced . We as a students can approch to them any time we want even not only in collage but also after collage hours through calls or whatsapp for any doubt solving or problem regarding collage . According to my experience , one of our teacher whoes name is Ranjay kamal is one of the best and supportive teacher . He always guided me in any of the misconvenience in collage either regarding admit card or fee submission or in classes . He use to be available for students anytime they need him . Rest of the teachers and faculty are also very good and supportive . Somehow there is also a one teacher whom I personally don't like beacuse of his rude nature with students ,by the way he is also supportive by some time he behavies too aggressive with students whereas ranjay sir use to be always claim and polite. Our collage use to conduct two exams in one semesters i.e.,Mid - semesters and End - semesters . One semester is use to be of 6 months . I personally feels that the level of exams conducted by our teachers are of moderate level i.e., not so easy and not so hard . Mainly questions use to be come only from what our teachers teach us and provide notes . The percent of students in pass & fail is about 90% /10% i.e., 90% of the students use to get pass and rest 10 % of students use to get fail or back .

The admission was on the basis of enterance exam conducted by the collage in campus only . The enterence exam was composed with written exams , group disscusion and personal interview . Under written exam they just ask some general questions of general knowledge and current affairs. Under group disscusion they make the groups of 5 students and give them a topic such as global warming , population , etc ....and ask them to put there own point of view on that particular topic . Under personal interview they just ask some questions personally tu different canditates such as say me about your-serf , why you choosen this course , why you choose this collage , what you like about our collage , what is you strengh and weekness , etc ... They given the more value to the scores of enerence exams rather then the academics marks. I personally just prepared some current affairs and nothing more .... and i think that was enough.

Our collage do not have hostel facility . If any student come here for studies out of his home town then he / she have to take room in rent near by collage . There is no gym near by collage at all but the environment around the collage is very good . There are 2 - 3 parks for chilling and juice center just for having a good time with friends . There are many restrudents and street food centers perfect for chilling with friends and having some good time . The of the famous place near the collage is Oxygen park and morabadi ground .
