BIT MESRA Review

In the first year they teach you the same subject to all branches so first year is kind of tough from my point of view but from second year is easy as you have to study accourding to your core. If anything happens on time is the exams

I have very pretty less idea about it. But i guess internship opportunities are good. It all depends on your skill which i have heard many times. There are two choices you can choose at the end of your college year is either projects and internship

In first year, we paid around 3 lakhs which also included our hostel fees and we also paid the mess fees which was around 35k . About the scholarships, the college does provide the scholarship to the top student, i do have vague idea about it since im in my first year. In the second year, the academics fees will be around 2 lakhs and the mess bill will be adjusted accordingly

The social life is good here. You get plenty of time to enjoy. Events like pantheon and bitotsav are huge. Deepotsav is also great. There are many interesting clubs you can apply. Our college's library is pretty nice and spacious and have all kinds of books and just not engineering ones

According to the hostel fees, i would say its pretty affordable. In first year, we girls get small room, basically a single room where you have to share it with your roommate but from second year, you get shifted to another hostel where you get spacious room. All you get is a bed, table, chair ( if you can fit that in a room) and an open cupboard

I chose BIT Mesra because it was in my city and as i am homesick, i wanted my college to be in my city or closest to ny city. I was preparing for neet so i never made it to applying colleges phase but i did apply to some other colleges like BIT lalpur and St. Xaviers and i do got selected but comparing to them, BIT Mesra was my priority and at that time engineering was the best choice i had. For me, the admission was from applying in the BIT Mesra site as they have released the form for admission of biotechnology through neet ug and icar

Some Professors in our college are really helpful. They listen to your problem and try their best to solve it. And some are pretty arrogant. Exams are tough here no doubt. And if you fail, you have to give the makeup exam paying the required amount and attendance issue is major because if you get the F* you have to pay 40k around to clear it.

The canteens and food trucks are also very nice. And we get variety of delicacies. For boys there is no curfew timings, however for the girls, you have to be inside your hostel by 9 so according to that we have no nightlife
