Course Curriculum Overview

4

Our course was taught exactly the way it was told. The course is quite useful for you in the real world.Improvement in curriculum and teaching methods was a lot and I gained knowledge. The frequency and timing of examinations as well as their difficulty varied.

Fees and Financial Aid

I have deposited my fees annually. I didn't have any tuition fees.and no caution fees My registration fees was Rs 1700 and admission fees was Rs 2000.no lab fees And no other compulsory charges during the course. No, I have only deposited my fees. I got scholarship for 2 years, my name is Talib and my friends also got it Qasim Salman Shanu Ram and others

Campus Life

3

There used to be an annual function in our college and the children who had their last year were able to enjoy it by bidding them farewell. But I can't remember the names of the months It did not take much time to go to the library, it was just 110 meters away and to get the book one had to read the entry card. The facility inside the class was not very good, it was just simple and there was no technical support. There were many types of sports in our college like cricket, volleyball and other sports for girls. No Other Student-Run Social Groups, Clubs, and Student Portals, Including Their Impact on Student Life

Admission

I had not taken admission in any other college, I liked this college just like that, it was safe and secure from my home I had not applied to any other college, so no one had bothered to reject me. The simple way to enter our college is to bring your documents and fees and take admission. The exams for our lessons were held in other colleges. The exams for our students were held in our own college. There is no cutoff rule in the college.

Faculty

4

The student faculty ratio in our college was very good and the relationship was also very close and whenever there was any problem, solution was available instantly. The name of the person whom I liked the most was Asim. He used to explain every method in an easy way and that is why he was the most favourite. The worst one in my college was named Reena who was very rude. There were exams every year in college. The exams were tough and very few students failed, most of them passed.

Night Life

2

There was no gayam area, there was a library, the public area was very good. We did not live in hostel and talked about campus timing, 9 am to 2 pm and other classes had other timings, everyone's timing was different. There was no place in our college where we could go at night because the college band used to be there at night.

Mahatma Gandhi Kashi Vidyapith - [MGKVP], Bachelor of Arts [BA] (Education)
Reviewed on Feb 17, 2026(Enrolled 2023)

Course Curriculum Overview:

The BA curriculum in my college at Mahatma Gandhi Kashi Vidyapith (MGKVP) for the 2025–2026 academic year is structured under the National Education Policy (NEP) 2020, making it academically comprehensive but traditionally theoretical. It follows a six-semester system that offers a wide range of subjects, from core Humanities (History, Political Science, Hindi) to modern electives and Vocational courses (e.g., Nutrition, Yoga, or Digital Literacy), providing students with a multidisciplinary framework. In terms of relevance, the syllabus is exceptionally well-suited for students aiming for government services and competitive exams (UPSC/UPPSC), as the depth of social science subjects mirrors the state and national civil service patterns. However, its professional comprehensiveness is lower; while the curriculum includes internal assessments, presentations, and project work to build soft skills, the actual delivery remains focused on rote learning and theory rather than industry-ready practical training. Consequently, the course is highly relevant for an academic or administrative career path but requires significant self-supplementation (internships or external skill-building) for those seeking immediate roles in the private sector.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course curriculum at Aligarh Muslim University (AMU) is well structured, relevant, and comprehensive. One of the main reasons I chose this course was its balanced syllabus, which includes both theoretical concepts and practical applications. The curriculum is designed in a way that builds a strong foundation in core subjects while also introducing advanced topics gradually. This helps students understand subjects deeply rather than just studying for exams.
