Course Curriculum Overview

3

The course is good for an non IT student because it involves every aspect to enter in the field and it starts from scratch. But if you are an IT student and you know the basics of the field then you should not opt for this college as you will end up your 1 semester in no time with no knowledge gain.

Internships Opportunities

2

Currently I'm in first year so I haven't applied for any internship but as i have seen many things and i have listened to our seniors that they will only help in getting you placed but you have to do all the efforts. You have to learn things by yourself. This college life will not have any time for fun and timepass all you have to do is write journals and study.

Placement Experience

2

Placement are not better by my point of view because there are many seniors talking about not getting placed and they have tried by themselves to get a job from out of the campus. Eventually if you are getting job from yourself they will add your data in their placement details so overall the placement figures will be nice. You will not get good package from this university but if you learn things by yourself and outstand the competition you are getting good money here.

Fees and Financial Aid

The fees per semester is 70000 for the SFI and 7250 for the GIA seats. There are many other fees like identity card fees enrollment fees but they are minimal like 200,500. The fees for labs and all is included in the above fees and there are chances of getting the scholarship in the campus but there are several qualifications

Campus Life

2

The campus life is not much good because out university doesn't care about social life there is no involvement of any type of events. Library is good and there are many books available for the students but not enough if there are many students issuing the book because they don't provide you any books and in library there is limited quantity. And of journals there is 180 Rupees for 3 journal, which is quite expensive by seeing the quality of the journal. There are 1 or 2 events take place every year like cricket tournament and sports week. There are many clubs which are related to your field or your department, but they also don't show any interest in social life

Admission

I applied for nirma and rolwala college but my marks were little less so i got the GIA seat in Dharmsinh desai university and because it was a GIA seat i taken the admission and went for it coz there was no other option. The admission process is very simple if you have appeared for cmat then you have to take admission through Acpc and they also take those student who didn't appear for Cmat. There is management quota from which you can take the admission easily.

Faculty

2

Faculty to student ratio is not better coz there are 80 students in our class so that's already more and faculty are only 5. There is one faculty in subject ADPF and he is the best among all of them because of the knowledge and the way he teaches us. And rest of the faculty is not good mainly the women staff they are very rude and always showing you attitude. Exams are tough very tough they take 3 sessional exams and 1 final exam. In sessional exam you have to score 36 from all the 3 sessional included so it's obvious that the exams are very tough they give you 3 exam of 36 marks to take 36 marks aggravated.

Night Life

3

Its very bad, literally its the worst college life of my life because there isn't good place around the campus and there isn't good campus as well, so you won't be having fun by hanging out. The night life is okay okay because there isn't much around to do so and at night all shops and outlet's will be closed so there's no chance of giving a thought of eating at night!!

Placement Experience:

There are placement available but experienced people are saying that they sends you in the waiting list but never calls and if they call you then they make contract of 11 months and then you know... From the second semester you are eligible for campus placements. There are many companies who came but not made an offer but I'm not allowed to tell you that. Around 40-50% are getting placed. I'm currently interen at Meetanshi so I'm planning to join them in future.
