KIIT is Giant!!

CSE in most engineering college is their flagship course and likewise in our college too its the topmost branch. Our curriculum is set by industry measures as the university has literally kept no half measures here. Only what will be required in future is included in our syllabus and therefore we are ready for the future with every lecture that we attend.

Honeywell is one that has hired maximum interns and there are many other companies too. Talking about Honey Well as that is where I did my internships and I was offered a stipend of 8000 and they offered me 2 months internships.

At KIIT our branch itself has over 200 students and still 80 or rather more percentage of students are placed every year. This is because the industrial connections that our college has maintained with the corporates, Amazon, Microsoft, and probably every Indian listed IT company favours our campus when it comes to recruitments.

KIIT Bhubaneshwar is Orissa's best college for engineering and law both. However there are ample courses but engineering without a doubt is the flagship course here. The fees for the same is 225k a year and a slightly on the higher side but less than peers like Centurion and Ravenshaw University. In terms of scholarships there are for sure 50+ but one that needs a very special mention is KIIT Merit Cum Poverty Scholarship. Through this the students who are good in academics but can't afford the fees can study here at 0 cost.

Our campus size I have already told but in that 700-800 acres campus what we have is 40 colleges inside it. 25+ food courts and a dozens of playgrounds. Number of hostels are countless and imagine when those many students getting would during the annual fest KIIT Fest the kind of noise they would be making. So our college is no less than a village and a village which is developed well and more importantly have civilized people living in there.

JEE mains whose score are applicable here was one exams that I gave and obviously it was because IITs were my dreams. Dreams looked like they shattered when I didn't got admissions there but my JEE Maine percentile made the cut-off list of KIIT and that is how I got admissions here.

You can name all the degrees in the world like B.Tech, M.Tech, PhD, M.Phil and our professors hold them all. So their virtue is something that words can't define for sure. Since ours is an autonomous university, we have a policy that exams schedule is given to us at the start of the semester. Our faculties are the ones who set them and they show no signs of mercy as papers are set really tough. Our faculties are strict but adorable at the same time as one can't question their knowledge and style of teaching at all.

Our university campus has enough up&down cafes and all. We also have multiple gyms and fitness centers. Outside our campus though some of the famous hangout spots are Buddha Jayanti Park, and Narayan Lake among others. Cafes like Pent Cafe and Blueberry's Cafe are ideal hangout or eating joints close to the campus.
