Likes

I liked the infrastructure of the college. It looks like brand new.
The labs are well-equipped with fast PCs
The college is located at a good location. It is accessible through any medium like DTC Bus, Metro.

Dislikes

I personally do not dislike anything about the college.

Course Curriculum Overview

The course curriculum is great in terms of student for gaining practical knowledge, instead of rot learning. THe curriculum focuses on practical knowlege rather than theoritical knowledge. With my perspective, the frequency of exams is good as the semester consists of only 2 exams- mid sem & end sem.

Class Size: 60Course Fees: INR 400000 per year

Placement Experience

The students are eligible to sit in campus placements during the third semester. The highest package i have heard for MCA is 12 LPA and the lowest package is 3 LPA. I plan to get a placement in a blue chip company.

Fees and Financial Aid

I have paid 2,00,000 Rs for first year of MCA. Same amount is for second year also. There is no exemption or a discount in fees category-wise. The students can apply for a scholarship in the National Scholarship Portal(NSP) which can be approved by the college.

Campus Life

There are various clubs and societies in this college, such as music, dance, acting, cinematography etc. There is a huge variety of books in the college library. There are different libraries for every department. One fest happens every year.

Admission

There is an online counselling conducted by the GGSIP University. Through this counselling, a student can apply for a total of 11 colleges for MCA including the GGSIPU. I applied for 5 colleges but selected this college because it was closer form my home. Also, the placement rate is decent in VIPS.

Faculty

Each class is assigned a different teacher for every subject. This shows that the faculty -to -student ratio is good. The faculty of VIPS is highly qualified. They are supportive towards students. There is one internal exam (mid-sems) & one final exam (end sem) for every subject.

Night Life

I, personally have not experienced the night life of or around this college. But, some of my friends who live in PGs near college say that there are many restaurants, clubs and gyms nearby within a range of 1 KM.

The Best University of all time

Likes

I like the campus very much, it's big like a play ground, professors are cool and loving and the surroundings are perfect.
If you come here see you,,, you will definitely like it
The classroom are big and perfect, it comes with big projectirs so that students can learn easily

There’s nothing to share anything, it's just perfect everytime

Course Curriculum Overview:

I really enjoyed this course. The lessons were clear and easy to follow. The topics were very useful and matched what is needed in the real world today. The course covered everything from basics to advanced ideas smoothly. I highly recommend it to anyone looking to learn this subject.

Teachers are helpful and understanding. Proper labs are there.

There should be proper sports facilties as well

Placements were really good till 2023 batch as opportunities were good in terms of no of positions and packages also In current scenario as recession is going on opportunities are less as compared to previous batches but yes opportunities are still there for deserving candidates

Campus life unplugged and exploring ,safety and vibrants

Course structure and materials is good, and also offer many course . but management is not good they need to improve
I am studying in distance learning so i did not have ideas about campus life
mentorship is good and faculty is also supportive

Course Curriculum Overview:

course curriculum is outstanding but they need to emphasize on practical skills rather than theory. and also need to arrange class on their respective study center for sttudent knowledge enhancement. but good things of university is they taken exam on time , published result timely .

Good college providing great opportunities, with great faculties.

Likes

College has good infrastructure, every important facilities is available.
All classrooms are smart classes with air conditioning in every room.
Labs are equipped with latest desktop systems .

Dislikes

Short area of campus making it very small
Although we have some sport facilities but due to small space of campus it is not up to mark

Placement Experience:

Companies start to visit college from the end of second semester providing internship of 6 months and a ppo offer. Average package companies offering to mca student is 4-5 lpa only as market is down at a time placement numbers are going down for my college now a days

Average college but not worth it

Likes

Parking services as the campus includes 3-4 colleges altogether so we have 2 parking places
Commutable location as it is very near to the metro station (govind puri)and the bus stand(govind puri)
Involvement in Societies as it is the only way to get out of class and have a social life in college

Dislikes

Faculties partial behaviour towards some students like ot giving them enough internal marks or being rude to the students for no apparent reason even when students does everything they say so.
Placement coordinator is the biggest drawback here in BCIIT, he doesn't work enough to get job opportunities for children and then scold then for not getting placed
Not enough faculty to teach students properly(as of now) teachers have left this college because of the placement coordinator only.

Placement Experience:

From end of second semester, students become eligible for the placement drives but companies come in our third semester only. BCIIT Had the record of 100% placement before 2022 but after 2022 only 20% students got placed, bciit had a dips of almost 80% , placement coordinator was not coordinating with the students to get enough job opportunities for the students to sit in. There were companies like IGT solutions in which 5 students got placed but IGT didn't give the job afterwards. Ncr voyix,ncr alteas,IVP, CVENT, BIGOH NOTATION,TO THE NEW ,PUBLICIS, DAFFODIL are some big companies That comes in the college with average package of 5lpa.

Great Infrastructure

Remarks:

College is good in context of study, faculty, infrastructure but it is bad in context of placements. college should take some steps to increase placements, as all students want to get placed in good company

IGNOU is a decent college for distance learning

Placement Experience:

Placement is more satisfied other than other colleges. IBM, WIPRO, SAPIENT & Most top companies. If you are fresher, you can get 100000 to 200000 package. And if you are experienced, you got 250000 package to what you deserved. With ignou's certificate students get valuable job.

Get set start with brief info about VIPS.

I applied for Delhi Universities and IP Universities. The first criteria to get into DU is based on merit but also you have the second option ie. by giving the the-Jat exam. Though the cut-off yet goes high for general category students. So I ended up getting into the topmost colleges of IP universities in my course. IP has an entrance exam for every student and the maximum % of admission depends on the Rank you get in the CET. For my course, it is mandatory to have Maths and English in your 12th. The l the rank results higher the chance you to get admitted. The process has 3 rounds after the results. Post getting the results you set your college preferences and according to your rank, you are allotted one. If you are satisfied with the college you can get yourself enrolled but if not you can wait for the second round which goes the same way. But even if you are yet not satisfied you can wait for the spot round ie. if someone leaves that spot. The entire admission process in IP is systematic....Read More
