Remarks

Our college is over all a good one as here faculty is considered as friends who help students and are more focused on students welfare thus there are some short comings too like they should focus on extra curricular too

Course Curriculum Overview

Course is good of bachelor of engineering In mechanical branch which is mine. Although it is considered to Be a very difficult one. Also there are many other colleges which provide the same education under pune university.there are insem and end sem pattern of 30&70 marks respectively

Placement Experience

Regarding placement as It is the scenario all over nothing much difference is in our college like companies do visit but very few students get placed Also internships are not compulsory in our college But if on request we may get some suggestions

College Events

There are many events which are celebrated in our college like right from the day it begins to end consisting of various festivals techical and non technical ones like the Phoenix, ace , jhankar,etc consisting of events like coding lathe war cad war etc

Fee Structure And Facilities

Fee structure is not some more different as prescribed by the all India council for technical education also having caste system fees being around 1,00,000 for open category, 50 k for obc &2000 for SC / ST

Fees and Financial Aid

Can’t say anything about scholarships but our college provides a facility of earn and learn for the students who don’t have a rich background thus they earn as well as learn something educational and earn about 4000 a month

Campus Life

There are student associations like Mesa , Ace , Etsa roboclub , Astros Club etc. there are all labs here where centre of attraction is Baker mqc lab and newly established tribology lab also other departments comp Nd ec also have their respective labs

Alumni/Alumna

I haven’t experienced any good response from seniors or alumni or main reason maybe bcoz of no contacts also some of the well known alumni being Taizoon baker the owner of Baker gauges also university toppers too

Admission

There was a entrance exam of Maharashtra government named mht cet consisted of 3 papers maths physics chemistry of which maths of 100 marks n physics chemistry 50 each also it is an state level based examination

Faculty

The faculty is very friendly one. Our college is accredited by NBA for 3 years also accredited by NACC for 5 years. Faculty is mainly focused towards the completion of syllabus of students whenever we go for doubts they always help us

Experiences so far

Likes

My experience at lissah has been mixing of challenges. Psychology depart has supportive teachers and classes is good
Campus is peaceful and it’s so greenery there are opportunities to take part in different academics
I also like that the psychology department has its own lab and practical exposure and Lissah is well known for psychology itself

Dislikes

I feel that there could be more programmes activities and opportunities for students to make college life
Location could feel like quiet and it’s not in town area
Those who prefer more active atmosphere I would not recommend here

I chose bsc psychology because I was interested in understanding human behaviour. The curriculum covers different areas of psychology along with subjects such as major psychology minor statistics and physiology then English mdc . Since I am still in my first year I have only experienced the initial part of course

Faculties are good. Most them are very friendly
Class rooms and canteen are also good. Not the best
Fees are very low comparing to other collages

Dislikes

Not giving good placements. Only 1 or 2 good companies good. Others are average
I'm not interested hostel. But my friends in hostel always saying that the food is not good.
Some faculties are not treat all the students equal. Not every only some

Placement Experience:

Placement are not the best. But EY , federal bank, TCS are some the prominent companies that are coming. The negative thing about placement is most of them are offering marking jobs. So if you are someone who is interested in operations this is not the collage you want to in.

Likes

Decent infrastructure. hostel infrastructure is also clean and better than most colleges

Dislikes

Very poor campus life. No importance for cultural programmes and activities
Very poor and degrading environment for women. Faculties and other staff are very judgemental.
Very low packages for average students. Placement training is regularly being provided, but it is too hectic to be managed along with curriculum.

Placement Experience:

students become eligible for placements after sixth semester. Major companies like TCS, Infosys, Wipro, Cognizant, e.t.c are recruiters. about 5-10 students are recuited on average by these companies. highest package was offered by south indian bank in 2023 (10 LPA). average packges are around 2 to 3 LPA.

We have a very good faculty family that is not only supportive but also loving.

Placement Experience:

From the seventh semester we are eligible for the placements. They provide placement training sessions in the college itself. Computer Science department has almost hundred percent placements. Also there is mtech in the college if you prefer higher studies.

TIST , Great college , fun events and more

Likes

Our seniors passed out with flying colors joining different companies or starting their own. There's a good focus on peer learning and student communities which is pretty nice. Canteen food is decent and labs are great
Most people and professors are friendly and they encourage you to try out new things.

Dislikes

Hostel water , busses are pretty fast. Sometimes roads are a bitt rough

Course Curriculum Overview:

Course curriculum is under KTU syllubus do it's fine. There is a change in curriculum coming 2024 which i assume would make a lot of good changes. The curriculum gives you a head start For most of your work, you need to on your own but the faculty is there to help. The frequency of exams is weekly tests + monthly exams. Its not too difficult of an exam.

Likes

I feel like staffs in my department are pretty good, atleast they fullfill their duties to cover the portions in right time
We have placements training, offered free of cost by college itself
Notes and necessary materials for studying are provided from college itself, and most teachers don't force on buying textbooks or other materials

Dislikes

College is located in aarakunnam, which is a bit remote area hence for various needs we often need to travel a few kilometres even for basic necessities
The road to collage entrance is a steep road, and currently it's under construction (it's been a yr)
Students are required to park their vehicles outside the college, as there is no parking facilities for students inside campus

Placement Experience:

Currently placements are bit low, due to inflation, but compared to other colleges like KMEA, etc we have better placements similar to Muthoot and all. We have placement training, and other supports which can help us crack aptitude exams and prepare for placements Almost 70-80% students are placed every year, with an avg package of 4LPA

Exams are conducted without a gap in between
There are a lot of assignment often for the students

After 6 th semester students become eligible for placements . It's in the final years . Many companies have visited the college and made offers for the students like Wipro,Tenzo tech , infopark etc Around 70 Percent students get placement

Likes

When it comes to the campus life, I enjoyed all the 4 years
The infrastructure was okayish Could've improved.
The faculty was really friendly and I was able to approach them without any hesitation.

Dislikes

The road from the junction to the college is not at all maintained. Students coming up the hill find it very difficult to reach college
The bus fees are increased every year. But these people can't find a way to provide seats for the students after paying their bus fee.
Some other campus offer many varieties of food in their canteen. This has to be done here too

Placement Experience:

The students usually start appearing for campus placements in their 6th semester. The training for the campus placements is started for all the students from the 4th semester. Many companies visited for campus placements. But one main problem is that most of them were low packages. Around 4LPA. Some were between 4-6 and a very few between 6-10. Most of them got placed in our batch in some company.

Yeah well, positive things are there. I got many friends. I got a degree. I learned much personal and professional knowledge. I also learned how to live independently for 4 years without parents alone somewhere.

I don’t know because I haven’t attain any internships

I applied to several reputed colleges which offering similar programs in AI AND DS such rajagiri ,CET , Amal Jyothy etc.but in merit i get a college named mentor in ernakulam which is not having a good placements or acedamic performance and no a good transport itself.and I choose this college because a very good •academic reputation •infrastructure facilities •placement opportunities •lactation and accessibility •scholarships or financial aids This combination of factor made this college a ideal choice for my academic and professional aspire. Yes I did rejected by one college of my 12th percentage but they call me at last but I choose this college because that is a very bad in placements or academic performance and I focused more to a good academic and much better college for my career.and at last this made me to understand my strength and areas for grow and made to focus on making the opportunities that I have in this college and made me for the personal growth too and to build a strong gang certifications in the key areas too.the admission process in our college is mix of merit and management quotas depending upon the course. Eligibility are for BTech pass 12th with science background and meet the minimum score in physics maths and chemistry and for MTech relevant bachelors degree and accept entrance exams like KEAM JEE NATA GATE etc..and the cut off will be based on seat availability or number of applicants generally computer science have high cut off .
