My Honest Review on LD Engineering College

As far as we consider that textbook knowledge is not the real world knowledge, and that is 100% true. So in this case scenario, the college helped a lot and took initiatives for students to arrange seminars of exeperts. The faculties also conduct workshop of different technology like Robotics, AI/ML etc.

Many companies can give internship opportunities to this college. TCS(Tata Consultancy Services), Infosys, Wipro, Tech Mahindra, Mindtree are gives internship opportunities For IT and software Department. Texus Instrument, Intel, Qualcomm, Havells, Hitachi are giving internship opportunities for Electronic & Electrical Department. The outcome of this intership is to gain industrial knowledge.

The placements is very good. The placements cell support each and every students. Most reputed companies come to the college to hire skilled empolyee. The college give 100% placements. After 7th semester we are eligible for placments. My plans after getting the degree is to place in multi-national company.

LDCE had a fees structure same as Government Engineering Colleges of Gujarat. This fees structure ranged from 1,800/- INR to 2,500/- INR per year depending upon the semesters. The fees were to be paid on a semester basis after completion of each semester. The total tuition Fees for BTech in Information And Technology is approximately 8,500/- INR. The total hostel fees for BTech courses is approximately 8,700/- INR. Additional expenses may include examination fees consider as a Miscellaneous Fees. MYSY Scholarship is available for all students and Digital Gujarat Scholarship is also available for all students.

Campus life at LDCE is amazing. There are clubs like English speaking club, Coders club, NCC cadets are also trained in our college and many social activity by faculties is initiated to make students aware about literature, art too! The technical facilities are quite good in terms of condition and working but not upto the mark as compared to private institutions.

LD College of Engineering is the one of the best college in Gujarat. It ranks 1st in terms of Government Engineering College in Gujarat. Every students studying in 12th or Diploma Engineering in Gujarat once have a dream to get admission in LD College of Engineering. I am happy to say that I am studying in LD College of Engineering. If we talk about the admission process, LDCE college will provide admission through the ACPC round. After 12th science we get a merit rank from ACPC and depending on merit rank we can get admission in different Colleges. As we know LDCE ranks 1st so that the cutoff rank to get admission in LDCE is very high.

The well qualified faculties are teaching in each and every department of the college. The teachers holding PhD, Masters from IITs and NITs are guiding students a lot and igniting a spark of knowledge in students life. There are two exam in each semester. One is Mid-Sem and second is End-Sem. End-Sem examination is conducted by Gujarat Technological University. Mid-Sem examination is conducted by each departments of LDCE.

No night life i had celebrated as I always used to go home after completing my college. But my some friends who stayed in the hostel always used to travel around as there are lots of cafeterias, restaurants nearby. Hostel has a strict timing and if anyone is out of the hostel one has to come by 10:00 PM anyhow or they may call parents/guardians of students coming late.
