Course Curriculum Overview

I like the course because I personally choosed the civil engineering. You can gain knowledge about civil engineering, serveying, construction material and so many things. Overall the best course for my prospective.

Class Size: 800Course Fees: INR 2000 per year

Internships Opportunities

Internship opportunities are good here. You can gain so many practical knowledge after the internship program provided from this college. For mechanical and electrical they go to hydraulic power plant.

Placement Experience

The placements are good enough. So many reputated companies came to this campus every year to give a chance to be a part of their reputated companies. Companies like Royal Enfield, LT, CEAT etc. overall the placements are good enough.

Fees and Financial Aid

The fees is 1000/year and the semester fees is 250 per semester so the overall fee structure is 1500-2000 per year on this college. You have to pay per year admission fees and before the semester you have to pay the semester fees.

Campus Life

This 3 years of campus life was the best experience ever in my life. The friends and classmates I made here are so good and supportive. Overall the campus life was best for me and the knowledge i gained is unexplainable.

Admission

This college is near to my house and I like this college cause the campus is huge and the faculty is good. The cultural fests are good and the social programs are good. College provides intership and placements.

Faculty

Faculty members are good and they're so supportive.In case of any kinda problem of any student they will provide you the proper guidance and they're help you. This college have 3 different courses which is Civil, Electrical, Mechanical engineering.

Night Life

Night life is good for those who live here on rent. They have market, food stalls, grossery shops, pharmacy near them. Then places are good enough but inside the campus there are some restrictions that you can't go inside after campus closes .

Best polytechnic college

Placement Experience:

5th semester students are eligible for the campus interview. The companies are coming in our college is L&T,TATA STEEL,JINDAL GROUP etc. 90% students get placement in our college. Average package is 1.5 LPA and Highest package is 2.5 LPA in our batch. I want to do higher studies.

Placement Experience:

The students were eligible for placement after 5th semester exam. Many companies including LnT energy, LnT construction, Ambuja cement, Ultratech, Wood PLC and many companies visited the campus for fresh recruits. The offers were made between 3-4 lakhs per annum. Highest package was 4.25 lakh offered by LnT construction. Almost 80% of our batch got placed in companies. The one that couldn't get placed were the ones not meeting the age requirement. I opted for BTech in Civil Engineering after completing the course in JCGP.

After 3 years of diploma or after 6th semester the students become elligible for campus placements. Students can get placements on various companies like tata consultancy, tata motors, etc. At the time of joining students can get from 15000 to 18000, after improving their skills on that job they can easily earn upto 30000 - 40000

Rajganj Government Polytechnic is the life of Fatapukur and also all over Jalpaigiri.

For the entrance examination, you have to complete JEXPO which is conducted every year in the month of May. The eligibility for taking this entrance is the 10th pass with a 30% mark. The age criteria are 16 years. The application form fee of Jexpo is 450 INR. Application is filled in the month of December of the previous year. There is also have reservation benefit.
