- I liked some of the teaching faculty as they're very helpful and kind, some are not ...
- They take exams properly like the way their internal exams are designed you will be fully prepared for University Exams
- The campus area is huge but our building limited to only Management courses
Dislikes
- The timings, the college is from 9 to 5, this takes up our whole day, they need to reduce the college timings the length of lectures so that students can also focus on other things.
- Placement scenario is pretty average here, there is central placement cell so you'll to sit with Engineering students during campus placement,and other students from MCA colleges join us here for competition.
- The teaching of certain teachers is very old school, they come in the class read PPT and leave, you need to teach practical knowledge to these students they're supposed to be learning in trend stuff.
Course Curriculum Overview
The course is really designed accurately, with including programming as well as management subjects. In each sem you get to choose from multiple electives,which is new addition in 2024 syllabus. The pattern of 3 exams is quite good, the difficulty level is medium.
Internships Opportunities
Deloitte, Capgemini, Cognizant, Accenture These are some companies which came for central placement at Sinhgad, in which Siom students can sit for placement, note that these big companies are only coming in Engineering Campus.
Placement Experience
Placement are currently happening for our seniors. From what I've heard they're getting placed between 4 5lpa, eacg batch has 20 30 students being placed on campus. May small scale and startup companies visit here along with some big names.
Fees and Financial Aid
I have 49693, as I come under EWS category. Most of the students under OBC EWS has paid 49693 fees, this includes 9025 Development Fees 32238 Tution Fee. Caution money is 5000. All the government scholarships listed under Mahadbt are available here.
Campus Life
Spring Fest, Carnival, Karandak There're many fest and festivals going on here, in the main engineering campus. It has good cricket ground so tournament matches are conducted there. There're many clubs which you can join and increase your circle.
Admission
I was interested in other colleges, but got Sinhgad instead, but I don't mind in this level, it is a average college with moderate fees. Admission is conducted through CET exams only, after it you can take Against Cap and management admission also.
Faculty
The faculty is enough, we have 4 divisions, each 2 classe have same teachers, for each 2 division 6 7 teachers are there for each subject. Some of the faculty is really well mannered and kind they know how to talk and confront students. They take mid term exams then there'll be a Prelims before University exams.
Interview Experience
No I didn't face any group discussions or interviews. There are no interview rounds group discussions Admission is directly taken through CET exams. After CET admission you can participate in spot rounds .
Night Life
Due to around 10 colleges are here in Sinhgad Vadgaon area, there're too many cafes,hotels,mess available near by. Gym library is available here, library is different for every college on different floors in a single building called Central Library.
