Starting New Days at Siom

I liked some of the teaching faculty as they're very helpful and kind, some are not ...
They take exams properly like the way their internal exams are designed you will be fully prepared for University Exams
The campus area is huge but our building limited to only Management courses

Dislikes

The timings, the college is from 9 to 5, this takes up our whole day, they need to reduce the college timings the length of lectures so that students can also focus on other things.
Placement scenario is pretty average here, there is central placement cell so you'll to sit with Engineering students during campus placement,and other students from MCA colleges join us here for competition.
The teaching of certain teachers is very old school, they come in the class read PPT and leave, you need to teach practical knowledge to these students they're supposed to be learning in trend stuff.

Placement Experience:

Placement are currently happening for our seniors. From what I've heard they're getting placed between 4 5lpa, eacg batch has 20 30 students being placed on campus. May small scale and startup companies visit here along with some big names.

I like the campus of the college which is in 50 acres with so many facilities to students etc included in campus so the college has huge facilities of solar panels that was able to generate more electricity so were doing practical without any obstruc

Dislikes

College campus was not secure but cleanliness was the major issue in College aslo the students were not in discipline but aslo the roads of the campus were not well maintained so it was the major problem in rainy season this was the issue for student

The Carnival which is celebrated once in the year
Environment of college is better like lots of trees are surrounding.

Dislikes

No placement provided above 270 students only 10-20 has been placed.
No one computer is functionable in the lab. you want to carry your laptop whole day .
Teachers are not supportive or helpful for students .

The sylabus is from university wich is savitribaiphule pune university the which good and it also include practical subjects mostly which is plus point for the students ,every semister has one mini project which is related to this semister practical subjects.

Teacher’s are knowledgeable and experienced
Campus area is neet and clean with good security
Study room also available attached with library

Course Curriculum Overview:

Faculty is knowledgeable and they guided to selecting stream also they groom you in personality development also. There is different guest lectures to aware about corporate world. Improvement is rquired in regular meetings with mentors once in week.

Think before opting for MBA

Likes

Induction program arranged by the college
Teaching faculty like some are doctrate and well qualified
Lab facility given by college so students can learn computer and other courses

Dislikes

Quality of teaching, as some teachers lack communication skills
Students query was not solved or the faculty was not able to solve 100 percent query of students
No industry exposure given to students like industry visit,etc visit

Placement Experience:

From 3rd semester students became eligible for campus placement, there were so many companies visit campus for placement like Tata motors, Deloitte, MGS technology, NKB grop( indomax), Food square, Web Link Services Pvt. Ltd., and many more

Placement Experience:

After completion of 2nd sem college will start the placement activities are there. They arrange the placement training also in college. For placements no backlog are needed, if you have backlog you cant seat over there.

Sinhgad institutes have one of the best infrastructures among the top universities, also the teaching staff here is highly qualified and the college is good for the placement.

Likes

Extra curricular activities, proper guidance , tech fests.
Teaching faculty , experience in the field , cultural nights.
Campus , infrastructure , and the whole study related environment

Dislikes

There should be more opportunities about placements .
They should conduct industrial trips , because they haven't conducted during our term
They should conduct more events for the refreshment of the students

Placement Experience:

In the capabilities of the students are good enough he can get internship or placement in the very first semester... Because the college provides you with so many opportunities... Either the company is small or big ...but opportunities have no compromise... Also there are some students who got 8 lakh per annum package based on there skills and companies requirements... Some companies are having eligibility criterias of having no backlog....so you have to take care of it ...and also after taking degree from such a big institute there are numerous opportunities off campus.

The campus area is very chilled and big.
Faculty we got was very very helpful ,they helped us in every possible way
College is very very big and also the library was very big

Dislikes

There is no good shops,cafe so that is also the problem

Placement Experience:

From 3 Rd semester..there is a starting of our placements,there were multiple companies that came in our college,like TCS, emerson,phenom etc and multiple offers they gave like developer, analyst, tester like that,there is a name of student called dhammadeep..he got 8 LPA,and job as developer,above 7 SGPA is enough to get placements,my plans are very simple,first is to get the job from reputated company and want settled life.

Cricket Ground : Green grass Cricket Ground is present in our Campus.
Uniform : Uniform is compulsory for students.
Faculty : Teaching and Non-Teaching Faculty are very active and supportive.

Placement Experience:

Placement cell is active throughout the 2nd year of our course , they help us to find internships and jobs. Placement cell provide all important notes and useful information required for companies and their process.

Infrastructures of the college are good.
Facilities provided by the college are good.
The placements and the companies visiting are good.

Dislikes

I disliked the social life of the college.
I disliked the fact that the college did not organize anything such as festivals or functions during our academic year.
I disliked the food in the college campus.

Placement Experience:

The placements depend upon which Specialization you're in. If you're a marketing student there will be lots of good companies coming in for placements followed by finance and then HR. You become eligible for placement from 3rd semester. Companies such as Deloitte, PWC, TCS, HCL, etc. visit the campus for placements and offer a good amount of Packages.
