Course Curriculum Overview

3

Computer Science and Engineering is the most common course as it promises a good future. The teachers need to provide more of an experimental and practical approach to teaching the students than just asking us to make notes and learn only with the mindset to get marks in exams. Exams and tests are conducted almost every week once in 2 weeks.

Placement Experience

2

Placements are offered, and companies come to college to recruit students for their respective roles. At our time of placement, the last TPO left at the beginning of our year of placement, and another TPO came in after 2-3 months hence, we lost that time of having no companies on campus. The new TPO brought a few companies, most of them offering nontechnical roles. Just to increase their placement graph, the institute asked us to sign up for the nontechnical jobs even though we weren't interested. a

Fees and Financial Aid

In the first year, the fees were Rs120000/- and from the 2nd year, the fees became Rs109999/-. For the ones applying for the scholarships, the fees may vary. I stayed at the hostel for 2 months, and the fees were submitted all at once for the year, which was Rs120000/-

Campus Life

2

There are clubs in every department. The choice of the president and the important members is mainly based on who's more on good terms with the seniors. The clubs organized events and competitions for all but chose the selective ones as the winners, the same people were the winners every time. The technical clubs were not very functioning.

Hostel Facilities

2

The hostel faculty was good. The food in the mess was also okay. The only thing that strikes me is that we weren't allowed to take the food to our rooms, in case we weren't hungry at the very timing even then we weren't allowed to take the food to our rooms we had to eat it then and there at the very given time limit.

Admission

I was a direct admission student, as I did not have good marks in JEE Mains. The requirements for admission were 60+ overall grades in school. I took this college under peer pressure as I had a friend coming to the same college, and my parents wouldn't allow me to go to a college all on my outside of my hometown.

Faculty

2

The faculties seem to be approachable but are not because they mostly think of themselves or the reputation of the institute and not much of the learning of the students. The faculty is also not treated very well by the institute, and so is their respective behavior towards the students. The faculty is not very knowledgeable and lacks practical experience.

Night Life

2

As a female student, the time of our hostel was 6 pm after that, we weren't even allowed on the college campus. So yeah, the hostel felt more like a jail. I was in the hostel just after the lockdown, so there was not much equipment to play and have fun. The hostel mess was okay. The common areas, like the gym and the common room, were closed at that time.
