Course Curriculum Overview

3

Actually i didn't know much about the college and the courses when i was in 12th so asked from my brothers and friends they they said to pursue for this course You have to do everything on your own in this college you can't get much help in your academic or placement purpose from.this purpose The major improvements required is to take admission is less students because of placements are getting worst due to this reason

Internships Opportunities

3

Very less opportunities are given in the 3rd year in 4th year the placements companies like Deloitte, TCS, Accenture, Infosys etc are the companies Projects is the subject of every year you have to make project every year

Placement Experience

3

Over the years, placements have grown to be one of the main attributes determining the reputation of my college. The placement process has a well defined structure that starts in the second last year of the course. This is normally in the 6th or 7th semester in case of undergraduate programs. Placements at my college are reachable by students as long as they have reached the minimum level of academic achievement together with some pre placement activities such as career workshops and mock interviews.

Fees and Financial Aid

So I've paid 90000 per semester but every year there is an increase of 10000 to the new students and the examination fees is 2500 per semester There are scholarship based exam before your admission is done in this university a minimum of 20% of your semester fees is deducted when you score good marks. The discount can be 100% also if you did great in the examination There are different fees structure for the specialization branches

Campus Life

3

My overall experience with campus life has been vibrant and engaging, offering a balanced mix of academics, social interactions, and extracurricular activities. The campus hosts several annual and technical festivals, which are a highlight for students. Events like the cultural festival "Rhythm" in March and the technical fest "Technovation" in November bring together students from various disciplines to showcase their talents, participate in competitions, and network with peers and industry experts.

Hostel Facilities

3

Hostels are okayish there are four seater and triple seater room available Meal quality is very bad menu changes every day Registration is done beforehand when you are applying for the admission process PG are affordable within 4 5 km

Admission

This is the only college I chose from the other colleges I applied to because, in my opinion, its combination of academics, infrastructure, and pricing is all reasonable. Applying to other colleges like Lovely Professional University (LPU) and Amity University brought me many other options, but this college even provided me with the practical aspects and industrial linkages which I lacked in most options.

Faculty

3

There are around 10000 students cse students per year and they are increasing day by day and the low placement problem is there due to high number of students Ratio of faculty to student is 1:70 Some of the faculties like sumit sir from whom i studied in the 2nd year and megha ma'am in 3rd year They both are knowledgeable teachers

Night Life

3

The nightlife around my college campus is relatively lively, offering a mix of activities to help students unwind after a day of classes. On-campus facilities like the gym and cafeterias typically close around 9-10 PM, while the library remains accessible until late, often up to midnight during exam seasons. Public areas such as common rooms and student lounges are available for casual gatherings but are usually vacated by 10-11 PM. Hostel timings vary, with most enforcing a curfew of 10:30 PM for undergraduate students, though some flexibility is provided during festival events or cultural nights. The campus itself is well-lit and secure, with security personnel ensuring safety throughout the premises.

Google, NVIDIA and likewise many others who are planning to have their setup in Punjab are already hiring a lot of people from our college. So, placements median so far is close or a shade above 10 but obviously it will grow to 20 till our turn comes.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The curriculum changes as per the need of the industry norms so that student can attain knowledge about the basics as well as the niche technologies. This is the aspect to choose the course and the lab work and continuous competitions help us with the industry trends. The management could be improved. The frequency of exams help us learn well and difficulty is between easy to medium.

Placement Experience:

The student become eligible for campus placements from 5th semester. The companies visited per year are approximately 200. They claim 100% placements but in reality they divide students into placement and non- placement batches called tpp and ntpp. If you slip up even once, you will be debarred from the tpp group. The highest package is 53 LPA. The average package is 4.5 LPA. Companies like JP Morgan, TCS, Capgemini, PlaySimple, Cognizant, Nokia, Philips, Morgan Stanley, PWC, KPMG, EPAM, Watchguard, High radius, OYO, Coding Ninjas, Samsung, etc have already came. More companies are yet to come. Since the student intake is too much, placements are really hard to get since there is too much competition. In the end, people get hired in mass recruitment companies and get minimum pay of 3-4 lpa. My plans are apply for off-campus jobs and start working in corporate after the degree. If I don't get a job, I haven't decided what I will do next.

Placement Experience:

Though when I got admission in this college, I saw the placement rates were very nice, around 95%, but maybe it was our session's fault. I passed out in 2024, and in that particular year, the placements were not as expected and as seen in the previous batch, so that was something very much disappointing because I paid so much money on a degree, only everything was good about the college, but in the end, placement matters during my session. Usually, the companies that hired for example, 10 students only hired two students.
