Value for money khalsa college

College is good. Value for money college. But it lacks in extracurricular activities and strength of girls in our college is very less. And thats a big issue. College should work upon the interaction with students too. Joyful events should take place to make interest of the students in college

Course curriculum is decided by the punjab university , chandigarh and the teaching is so good. Teachers are very friendly and kind. Mid sems takes place once in a semester of 6 months. There are total 6 sems in bcom.

There are no placements offered by the college and no jobs are provided to the students after completion. College also does not provide any practical knowledge to the students and also no Industrial visits. No internship are provided.

All types of events are celebrated in college. Like all the religious festivals , Freshers and the farewell of the students. Turban and several other competitions and also takes parts in many types of fests and competitions.

The fee structure is the most important advantage of this college. This is one of the less costly college of the city (Ludhiana) this is very affordable and the fee structure is very flexible. We can pay our fee in installments too. And various concessions are given to needy ones.

Students who got scholarships in 12th can be availed in our college , also various other scholarships are offered by our college to needy ones and many scholarship test take place. College helps the needy ones and give concession to them

College is weak in extracurricular activities. There are very few extracurricular activities as compared to other colleges of the city. There is a gym in our college but with no trainer , labs are there , but they never take us to labs , sports event takes place only once a year.

I have not opted for hostel. Because There is no hostel in our college. Students who live far from college , travel to the college in early morning as their is no hostel available. Students do up-down from home to college

Senior students and alumni is very good. Seniors are so helping and nice that they even gave me their books for free. They are always ready to help us and guide us. All of them are very helping. Am glad that i got good seniors like them.

After my 12th result , i bought prospectus/form of ggn khalsa college , civil lines. My documents like aadhar card , 10th and 12th marksheet and character certificate was required. I filled form and submitted. After few week , the list was issued by the college. Seats were given according to the students respective marks in 12th. Reserved quota was also present.

The faculty of college is very nice. The staff is very friendly and helping. Students feel pleasure and comfortable with the college except the fee collection department, they are too slow and kingy in their work. They are the only drawback in faculty
