Dislikes
- The canteen food could be improved and be better as there are only few shops
- Information system could be better as information is provided last minute sometimes
- The campus is quite small. There is only one ground for all the three buildings courses of bjmc, bba, llb bba llb
Course Curriculum Overview
The course is very well prepared and get updated according to the new changes in curriculum. The problem is teacher only teaches from its own ppt but the question in exam came from other topics as well which is given in syllabus or coursepack. Which makes it difficult for students to attempt. Sometimes all the subjects CES are held one two or even three in a day ( CES is the test that is conducted 2 times per subject)
Internships Opportunities
They offered us internship from Accenture and a company from Bangalore with stipend of 60k per month. You have to go through all the details and clear the interviews for getting selected for internship. I can't provide the project details and task as I haven't got in the semester where they offer internships to students.
Placement Experience
Students become eligible in sixth semester for placements. They do claim that they offer good placements to students but feel that totally depends on the credibility of the student. The highest package from bba was 8lakh per annum and average was around 4 lakhs. They call company like samsung, accenture, PnB banks etc. I am planning to pursue MBA after this degree.
Fees and Financial Aid
For first year the fees is 147000 and it increases with the rate of 5% per annum. The second year comes down to 154000 Next they charge an alumni fee which is 1500/- Also the fine for not wearing formal dress code or I'd card is 500 each The university exams fees lies between 5000-6000 depending upon your backlogs as well
Campus Life
The college fest is usually held in February. It was not upto the mark but we had fun there. They also organise inter college competitions for basketball, football etc. There are various societies you can join like Suave the dance society. Advik the music society Kalakriti the art society Netlinx the marketing one Flash the media and photography Literary society etc. You can play various games there's a sportsroom and a music room as well. You can play volleyball, basketball, football, cricket, table tennis, carrom, tug of war, sprint etc. They also hold sports event twice a year as well you get attendance for attending events
Admission
My CUET score was low hence I adopted for this college. I got selected into Vivekananda College (du). But this college seems like a better option. To get into this college you have to give BUMAT it is the entrance exam for this college. Then if you get good rank you will be called for counselling process where u can decide whether to take admission or not. Then you have to make payment and choose campus. The process is very smooth and they answer and address the queries of parents and students very humbly.
Faculty
The faculty are very approachable and friendly you can react out for any doubt or query after class or anytime. The faculty also share their extra knowledge with students which guides them further. There are 2 class tests, 2 internal examination and a university exam are supposed to held per semester. You need to clear both internal and external exams seperately otherwise a backlog will be added. The exams are difficult but too much. Also the coursepack they provide you is very helpful aur informative to read about subject and clear the exam. There is also a book bank you can issue to study.
Night Life
The college has its own gym and cafeteria. They also provide girls hostel in campus and that area is strictly prohibited for boys to enter. The gate closed of hostelrs at 8 pm. You can roam inside the campus but not outside. The library is also fully equipped with books. You can visit various cafes and go clubbing in Punjabi bagh it's very nearby. There are various coffee houses and places you can hangout after classes or just bunk and bask in the sun. If you get in this college you will know about the famous GOLA market.
