- The college is well maintained and i like the culture here its really good
- Very good teching and environment, seniors are really good, NO ragging, anti ragging committee was there to ensure that ragging is not done in the college campus
Dislikes
- It is very strict college, they will not leave you I mean open the college gate until the final bell rings
- Information science HOD is very very strict and rude to the students
- Placements are good but no high package more than 40lpa if you expect you dont get
Course Curriculum Overview
The course curriculum is average or good I can say. This college is VTU not autonomous. I feel its good to study in VTU because you will start from beginning and you will learn each and everything which is required starting from theroy to practicals, whereas in autonomous practices will be more and theoretical knowledge will be comparatively lesser. The exams will be easy and the time will be 2hrs for 100 marks and it will be reduced to 70% where as another 30% comes through the internals
Placement Experience
There are good placement opportunities in our college. Companies like Accenture, Cognizant, DXC technology, Wipro, Infosys, SAP, Applied materials and many more will visit every year. They have offered a very good package starting from 4LPA till 28LPA during our batch 2022
Fees and Financial Aid
Fee structure : My category is General Merit, so I went through the CET and my ranking was around 16k so I got this college in all the three rounds and every year the college fee was around 60k. There was one scholarship provided by our college for top 20 students who got good score in CET and came to our college. They gave 10k as the reward and the certificate from our college For SC /ST it was very less fee payable like below 20k . They have good opportunity likes scholarship amount can be claimed.
Campus Life
Annual fest which is conducted in our college every year - Geethayana. This will be the biggest event. They will invite celebrities and fashion show will be there will involves some cultural activities etc. We have take part in such activities during the fest
Admission
I got selected to this college through CET and my ranking was around 16k . I applied for this college by visiting this college and got to know there is good teaching and placement opportunities. I also got placed to dream offer when I passed out from this college. The placement co ordinator is very good. I have also applied for some colleges like NIE, JCE, Vidya vardhaka which are in Mysuru but i didint got selected here because thr ranking should be lesser than 5k.The admission is through CET, COMED K and management quota. The overall admission process was good.
Faculty
The faculties are really good and teaching is awesome. They use PPT slides and board for teaching students and also some relevant videos. They will also suggest somr important books to study for the exams. I like roopa shree mam from CSE department she is very kind and her teaching style is good and she used to provide the important questions for internals as well. For exams they will provide you somr questions which are important from previous year question papers. Almost all exams are easy, But I faced issue with one subject CAD which comes in first year. But if u focus and study it will be easy.
Night Life
I was not staying in hostel , so i dont know much about this but we used to go to KRS backwaters which is very much near to our college . College canteen itself was good ???? We can also order from Zomato or Swiggy durin lunch time and collect it. I heard from some of my friends that hostel warden was very strict and she used to put fine amount for every mistake. Outsiders are strictly not allowed inside the college campus.
