Life in sri eshwar

I took this course considering the fact it is a specialized course and as well i would gain knowledge in business orient. As for software related curriculum , it helps us learn some of the core concepts like Data structure, Design and analysis of algorthims and Database. I would suggest to improve in the aspects of hands on practices and providing us time to work on it. The timing for internal exams are around 1:30 hrs for 60 marks and for end semester exams it is 3 hours in total.

Interships offered are by Amazon with stipend of 1 lakh per month and other than that we are offered interns from juspay , gynmatrix and so on. Other than that we are provided with some trainings in the name of internship which is only conducted by the college.

For 6th semester students are eligibe for campus placements. Companies visited: Zoho, Juspay , Caterpiller , Covai.co and other startups. Highest package : 20 LPA Average package: 5 LPA Placement percentage : 80 % My plans after degree is to be placed in a good package.

Dhrona is the only event which will be held around the month of march or april. Other events can be freshers day and food fest. Some small events like hostel movie days and trips conducted occasionally. The range of books available in library are sufficiant enough. On the aspects of technological provisions ,each and every classes contain a smart touch tv boards also we are provided with tables that contains plugs for laptop and mobile charging facilities. Sports they offer basket ball, cricket ,football and other atheletic sports. For clubs, we have Tamil mandram, toastmasters , NCC , SLC and indoor games .

For the hostel in D block in 4 sharing rooms we are provided with 3 attached bathrooms , 1 personal wardobe for books and clothes , 1 table ,1 chair and 2 adaptors. The food quality is good and the providers are zenith catering. Menu varies everyday. some of them are dosa, idly , poori , chapathi , samba, payasam and parotta ( once a week). Registration process for hostel is done during the admission process. Comparing the cost we are provided with best quality of life and its affordable.

I applied through TNEA process and i was not planning at first to join this college. I prefered Rajalakshmi institute of technology, Sri krishna engineering and so on. I filled the choice list on the basis of my preference with sri eshwar on top because i thought i cant opt for better one later. This course which i selected was my 6th choice , so i didnt opt for upward movement and immediately joined here. I prefered rajalakshmi because it is in chennai and the placements are comparitively good. Same for sri krishna. The admission process is simple, we need be selected either by TNEA or management catogery , submit our original documents and pay the fees including transport or hostel fees. Average cut off as of today is around 185 and above for my department.

Faculty to student ratio is around " 5:60 ". Our department faulties takes personal care of us. Especially i need to mention Dr.Cholaraja sir. And the reason for liking this staff is due to his efforts and support that he provided during the course. And i wouldnt personally say that i dont like any staff. There will be 3 internals and 1 semester exam for each semester. 2 Out of 3 internals marked for 60 and 3rd internal will be 80 marks in total. Medium Difficulty depending upon the subjects. Almost everyone clear the exam without any withheld, Rarely 1 or 2 . Course relevancy is good for instance " OOPS, OS and DBMS" and it might help us in the interviews later in SDE roles.

As for nightlife we are provided with a good hostel. We have a equipped gym. opens at 5:00 PM and closing by 7:30 PM . And for boys we have access to roam anywhere within the campus all night. We have mario shop inside the college until 9 pm. Outside the college we dont have much places to go due to the lack of transportation and distance. There is no much of a restriction for hostel timing , we can hangout anytime with the permission of parents.
