LDCE,The Best govt.engineering collage of gujarat.

curriculum is quite old, it give good knowledge about basics of subject but not enough for the real world application, students get chance to work on real world problem by doing project in curriculum, participate in various hacathons but yet the main core curriculum is not good enough, it need many improvements. gor the improvement collage already started offers minor degrees on emerging field like AIML, robotics, electric vehicles, green technology and sustainability engineering, and forensic structural engineering, this all minor degree help student to gain deep knowledge in specific field and its really hepl in placements. on the timing of exams its quite hectic, every 1& half month of gap there is exam like mid sem, end sem viva, exam are quite competitive also, but easy too pass by average study. the formats of exam is full descriptive, they should add mcq type question in exam and balance the difficulty level.

for the Internship i said it is decent but little bit good compare to other colleges, college help student to get internship but stipend is depends on the companies, some good companies provide good stipend also PPO. but the one major benifit here is the 7th semester has only compulsory internship, there is no other subjects to study, student need to do 6months of complsary internship which is beneficial for them to gain experience in relevant field and explore their intrest.

the student start eligible for campus placement from 7th semester there many big companies like Adani, tata, tcs, reliance, byzus, tatvasoft, Accenture, GPCB, etc are came for placement this year around 900 student get placed by more than 130 companies. this year placement is still ongoing so data will increase. chemical department get most no. of placement around 90% , other branches also got a good rational of placement, highest CTC offer was 18.70 lakh to student from civil and environment. average placement depends on Branch but most of the time its between 4 to 7 lakh. as i analysis the amount of CTC is decreased in Branch like CS/IT/EC but it increased in branches like environment/chemical and mechanical. also if any student want Offcamups placement it will be also add value in his/her resume that he/she is studied from LDCE because the LDCE is very reputed college in ahmedabad and gujarat. apart from this my plans after degree is go for higher studies in same this collage in ME in environmental Menagement. and after may be i would like to become professor. and doing research on various topics regarding environment engineering.

so, the main tution is ?1500/year for boys and ?0 for girls and tfws/sc/st student. there is collage fees for all students it change every year between 1200 to 3000 it includes all the different fees for library, gymkhana, development fees etc, there exam fees which not count in collage fees generally its ?850/semester (fees might change depends on number of subjects) now the scholarship , there is not any specific scholarship provided by collage but collage helps to student to get Scholarship like MYSY, digital Gujarat and many more scholarship granted by gujarat government and GTU.

campus life is really good, there are many no. of clubs events etc there are some major club like dhanak (for arts like music, dancing, theatre etc) sahitya sarita(regarding gujatsti sahitya, recognized by CM of gujarat) leo (social service club) Alumni Association NSS, NCC and many more... all clubs get enough funding for host events, collage infrastructure is not well but hall and place provide for cluds have really good modern infrastructure including all facilities. all student have opportunity to start their own club which is really great opportunity. there is all the activities regarding sports, annual fest, festival celebration any many more which you can think college should have, library of college is also quite good you get all the books regarding your engineering field. it has really good study environment. overall college has best campus life, extracurricular activities etc...

my decision to choose this college is different from other student, i want to pursue my degree in environmental engineering ,which offer very less colleges in Gujarat, ldce is best among them, apart from this this college has very good campus life, students and faculty compare to any other college , like my priority at 2nd no. is VGEC college EC branch which is also quite good college for engineering yet LDCE is far better in placement, cultural activities, clubs, campus life compare to VGEC or any other govt. engineering college, also the location of college is middle in city which benefits in very way like transportation, availability of shops, hostels etc. now on the admission process, there are too way to get admission in BE 1st after 12th , you need to get good score in GUJCAT, which is entrance test for engineering in gujarat, you admission on basis of 50%of gujcat score and 50% of board exams score, 2nd way is after diploma you get direct admission in 2nd year by DDCET entrance tests score, both admission process conduct by ACPC online mode. cut off is really high you need to in top 5% of students atleast.

most of the faculty are Masters and Phd holders, they have deep knowledge about their field, most of them are friendly and helping in nature. the ratio is around 1 faculty/12 student . they help student in any kind of study / career related problems, like for the internship, placement, in startups, for patents, research etc, overall faculty are really good compare to any other Institutes. on the exam curriculum there are 30marks mid sem, 20 marks internal/viva, and 70 marks of end sem exam, exam are quite competitive, most of the questions ask are 3,4,7 no. of marks. by the average focus on lectures and analysis of pyq any average student can pass the exam easily, but scoring 9+ cgpa is challenging. due to short term of semester sometimes it will be stressful.

Nightlife inside the college is nothing special, but outside college its great there is lots of tasty food stall, restaurants, lots of activities for entertainment, garden, shopping streets, movie theater, etc. law garden, Alphaone mall, hl collage food street, riverfront, etc are famous hangout place under 5km of distance from college. also all the famous fast food chains like McDonald's, pizzahut, Burger King, tacobell etc are available near college. hostel/pg are available near college, but most of them are quite costlier compare too other areas of ahmedabad city. for girls its really safe too travel and enjoy nightlife in ahmedabad cause crimerate are law in gujarat compare other states.
