Over-all good But they should more focus on practical knowledge rather than theoretical knowledge and marks also gtu should remove minimum marks criteria fo differently abled students and there must be one special teacher for those students because i always feel left out in classroom sitting and passing time because i can't see on blackboard and nobody helps me neither students nor faculties

I just completed my 5th sem exams so let's see what's happens next but from seniors qnd faculties i heard that companies are coming on one day and they take interviews and they decide and also they are offering interships to students also student can apply for internship off campus also

From sem 7th students become eligible for campus placement Torrent,adani , reliance,atul, tata etc companies are coming Highest package is 70-75000 per month Average package is 30-35000 per month Lowest package is 20-25000 per month Mostly 90% students are placed I want to apply for government exams because i think for visually impaired private sector have less acceptance

Year wise( it is dependent as per government rules for example in 2nd year i paid 1500 rupees and in 3rd year i paid 850 rupees) There are various scholarship available like private and government I applied for digital gujarat scholarship for obc category it provides 11,000 rupees

Hackathon,online workshops, technical classes,alao known engineering college's professors like iit ,nit come to give their knowledge in form of workshop on specific topics like cyber security In library there are only technical books are available Also cultural activities and sprts are also organised like triveni ,impulse sports ,Rass garba etc

Like i am visually impaired so washroom is provided me in room but room is very small due to washroom, washrooms are in room only on ground floor on first ,second and third floor washroom are outside of room and common washrooms are provided both sides on each floor meal quality is not so good not so bad for meal you have three options first is mess. Mess's food is cheap and specially for girls it is cheap when we say for parcel and canteen food is better than mess but little more expensive then mess and the third option is outside food like ld engineering street food is better for snacks For hostel like as i am D2D student so my first year's fees is 4500 and rest of two years i have to pay 1200 rupees for per year

I completed my diploma in electrical engineering then as a visually impaired student girl i was only one i was second in my category merit list all over gujarat so all colleges are ready to take me and all over gujarat ld engineering college is best among all colleges

Faculty and student relationship is so good specially as i am visually impaired they are so supportive and specially electrical department's faculty are so supportive Mostly all facilities are so supportive but specially hemant sir ,tejas sir and zenifer mam they are so good like tejas sir know that i am visually impaired so he used to explain me specially in labs and he performs practical where i can see nearly I don't like other departments faculty specially EC department like whenever we have external exam then supervisors are from other department and due to visual impairment GTU provided me extra 50 minutes but supervisors are getting bored to sit they are asking questions like how much time will you take?

For girls hostel Monday to Saturday closing time is 8:30 and for sunday closing time is 9:30 hostel terrace is the best to talk with friends Canteen is the best place for chai gupshup And for outside places nearby riverfront for view is the best ,law garden for clothes shopping and food is the best place ever
