What Students Say
Likes
- Look of the college along with the location.
- Thing which I love the most about the college is its discipline. Students don't dare to go anywhere without Hod's permission.
- The practical classes which are held in Computer labs are so interesting and knowledgeable.
Dislikes
- Discipline is good but sometimes it feels like I'm still in a school not in a College.
- I hate the 75% Attendance system of the college as not all the students can complete their 75% of attendance.
Course Curriculum Overview
The BTech curriculum offers industry-relevant topics like machine learning, cloud computing, data science, and IoT, ensuring alignment with current tech trends. It includes hands-on experience through labs and projects and offers electives such as AI and cybersecurity, allowing students to specialize. The curriculum combines theory with practical skills through courses like project management and programming, and provides valuable opportunities for internships and industry collaborations. It also lays a strong foundation for higher studies with subjects in research methodologies and algorithm design. However, more interdisciplinary learning, a greater focus on soft skills like communication and teamwork, and more research-oriented activities like hackathons could enhance the program. Additionally, keeping the curriculum updated with emerging technologies like AI and blockchain is essential. For exams, more continuous assessments (quizzes, projects) could reduce cramming, and the focus should be on problem-solving over conceptual understanding. Exam timings should be adjusted to avoid overlaps with project deadlines and internships. In conclusion, the curriculum is strong but could improve in areas such as interdisciplinary learning, soft skills, and keeping pace with new technologies. Adjusting assessment methods would also enhance student learning.
Placement Experience
The placement cell of my college only allows the students to sit for placements who have scored an overall of 8 SGPA in semester exams and those who have less SGPA are not allowed to sit in placements but they can apply for sitting in placements and an exam is conducted by the college to let them sit in placements.
Fees and Financial Aid
Hello fellow students, I am here to guide about my college and it's fee structure. To be honest my college is one of the cheapest colleges in Greater Noida with a yearly fees of 1Lakj rupees for pursuing BTech in Computer Science and If you joined the college by councelling or by lateral entry, then your fees will be much more small from 1 lakh. You must visit Dronacharya Group of Institutions for once which is located in Knowledge Park 3 in Greater Noida, you will love this college and it's look.
Campus Life
There are so many events and programs held in the college which include Fresher's party, Annual Sports fest, Hackathons and many more Events are held with time. You can get almost every single book for pursuing BTech from the library and you won't get charged for the book till 1-2 months and the Librarian is one of the best teachers of the college. There is smart board in almost every class except the first year students as they don't need any smart board classes until they are in first year. You can participate in sports in the annual sports fest and the winners get price money also.
Admission
I chose Dronacharya Group of Institutions over other colleges due to its strong academic reputation, industry-oriented curriculum, and emphasis on practical learning through labs, projects, and internships. The faculty here, with their industry experience, provided a significant edge compared to other colleges that lacked real-world integration. Additionally, Dronacharya’s placement record and modern infrastructure were key factors in my decision. While other colleges had higher cutoff requirements or competitive entrance exams I didn’t clear, Dronacharya's admission process was transparent and based on JEE Main scores or institutional exams. The process was straightforward, with clear steps and helpful guidance. Overall, I chose Dronacharya for its industry ties, experienced faculty, and excellent infrastructure, which gave me confidence in my education and future career.
Faculty
There are more than enough faculty for each and every class running in the college. The faculty members are so cool that behave like they are your friends but not all the faculty members as there is always some exceptions. You can approach them anytime during the college if they are free and if they are not then you can meet them after the college. My favourite faculty member is Mr Bipin Pandey as he is one of the best teachers of Java and Shiwani Sharma is one whom I hate as She is always in some attitude towards the students.
Night Life
Sorry about this but there is no college hostel so their is no nightlife of the college. The gates are closed after 6Pm and no one is allowed to enter the college after closing of the gates, you will only get a guard sitting next to tha main gate of the college.
