Course Curriculum Overview

5

Medicine is something i was interested in since my childhood, getting to know about the complexities of a human body, how it works, how it malfunctions and how to fix it all of this just fascinates me, few gets the opportunity to accuire this knowledge i wanted to be among those few that is why i chose this course. Curricullum is really focused on practical skills with lots of hands on training preparing for the real world scenario also like we learn in a real hospital set up so from the start every thing is real . I think updates like newer treatment technologies needs more emphasis on them. There are many many many exams, as soon as one exams end we get the date of other exams but we get used to it with time, some exams are difficult some are easy cannot give a generalised answer in this aspect.

Internships Opportunities

5

Internship is given in the college's hospital only i.e. CPR hospital monthly stipend is 18,000 per month, during this duration you are trained in all the departments of mbbs surgery and medicine being everyone's favorite.

Fees and Financial Aid

My yearly fees is 1,14,400 rupees which includes course fee of 1,03,900 and all the other amenities like labs, library, gym, hostel are included in 10,500. This was the fees for open category students for different categories fee may vary from o to 60,000 depending upon the category of the student, There are no merit based scholarships provided by college, as it is a goverment college the rederved category students receive scholarship

Campus Life

4

Social life of the college is good, there are several cultural festivals like cultural fest, ganesh fest, sports fest, cricket league, drama competitions, there is also a academic fest named cognitia. Library is really great the infrastructure of library is just beautiful, lecture halls are also very big and well equipped with sound systems and projectors. Ther are several clubs like book club, poetry club, music band, research club, etc.

Hostel Facilities

4

Rooms are spaceous you get an almirah, a table and a chair, you can customize your room as much as you want i even have an aquarium in my room. Food is qutie good but it follows a sin graph with the peak quality during the arrival of new batch and degrades towards the year end.

Admission

Admission process is purely merit based, entrance exam NEET is conducted every year and you get the college based upon your rank, the overall admission and counselling experience was bit complex and overwhelming but people get through it

Faculty

4

The faculty to student ratio is good like in medical training there are many people to teach like lecturers, senior residents, junior residents, interns all are teaching you something so i would say that it would be impossible to not find someone to teach you something in the college, as far as approachability goes maximum of the faculties are approachable and helpful but some can be like blazing fires just can't go near them, can't take any names i have to still pass my exams! There are 4 academic years and 1 year of internship each ear there will be 2 internal examination, 1 preliminary examination and one university examination

Night Life

4

There is a gym in the college but the equipments are really limited, college mess is good it is higenic has descent food and is affordable, there is no in timing for boys as such we go for chai at 3am sometimes, there is a waterfall and a lake in college campus .

Placement Experience:

They have great placement opportunities and even opportunities to go abroad for future studies and practice. They allow the students to explore such things but don't prepare and focus on a holistic development within the course years. They barely spend any money over co curricular activities and events.

Remarks:

Positive: The college's infrastructure is really good. Negative: Being a private medical college, a lot of money is charged and they even earn extra money by charging unnecessary numerous times, very expensive admission forms and other expenses. Faculty is okay, selected few are only good. It is placed in a town which isn't well developed (Ahmednagar) There could be more extra curricular events and less restrictions for students living in the hostel, but there aren't.
