Course Curriculum Overview
The college is affiliated to GGSIP University so the Course curriculam is as per the guidelines of the university. It is set keeping in mind the real-world aspects and its application. It prepares a student for further academic pursuits and with the motive to educate students about the subject.
Placement Experience
Placement opprtunities provided by the college are pretty generous. It has tie ups with many significant law firms and companies. The placement procedure in itself is very extensive with pre-placement talks which help to groom students for the journey they are to embark upon. A pre interview screening process is also conducted to prepare students for their final interview. After completion of the course various other opportunities are also available such as internships at courts and lawfirms to gain more experience of the courts.
Fees and Financial Aid
The fee payable at the time of the admission and the yearly fee from second year onwards may vary and the same is updated on the official site of MAIMS. The initial admission fee for year 2024-25 was Ruppees 1,53,000/- which was paid in two installments, 96,000 as GGSIPU genral counselling fees and 57,000 at the time of admission. For second year onwards special circular is issued on the website and fee for the session 2024-25 was 1,22,400 Ruppees. The bifurcation is as follows: Tution Fee= 1,01,400 Activity Fee = 1,000 University annual charges = 20,000 Scholarships are also provided by the college for various categories. For the first year scholarship is provided to the meritorious students on the basis of CLAT Rank. Following is the division: Rank 1 - 2500 : 50% of the tution fee Rank 2501 - 5000 : 25% of the tution fee Rank 5001 - 6000 : 20 % of the tution fee Rank 6001 - 7000 : 15% of the tution fee Ews scholarships are also provided by the college subject to the valid certificates and identification submitted for the same.
Campus Life
The campus life is actually happening as the college has many socities or social clubs to make friends and connections aswell. The extra curricular activities these societies provide is also important for the self development of an individual. MAIMS also cunducts an annual law fest where ADRCC competition and various other cultural competitions are held. Infrastructure of the college is sufficient for any student and what they might ask for, the classrooms are centrally air conditioned and are equipped with smart boards which are actually really helpful during classes. Four to five canteens are also there within the camus area which are good. MAIMS also has NCC for girls as well as boys and various sports are available as well.
Admission
The admission process is quite simple. One has to get enrolled through GGSIPU's official website and sign in to the application form. Various rounds are carried off in the admission process and one has to fill a prefernce list for different colleges. Upon alllotment the person gets admission. The college is preferable for its course values and its preferable advantage of location. Being located in Delhi it provides with various advantage to the law students and gives them exposure.
Faculty
Faculty members are highly qualified and very knowledgable in their respective fields of subject. Teachers here have a zeal to teach and find innovative ways to carry on imparting knowledge to their students. Many teachers provide their mentorship regarding the career paths.
Night Life
The college campus has a boys hostel inside but not a girls hostel, although authorities do provide with some contacts for finding good hostels or PGs outside the campus. Nightlife around the college is not so much happening. There are some hotels around the college but not good cafes etc. The placiiing of the college is little secluded so aroud it is basically residential area.
