Likes

People have good communication skills that's why it is very helpful for me as a 1st year student
Faculties are highly educated and helpful also
Everyone of college has good communication skills so this is very helpful for understand the things which i don't know

Dislikes

Infrastructure and lab facilities are very poor

Course Curriculum Overview

This curriculum emphasized hands on laboratory work and offered in depth modules on organic inorganic and physical chemistry aligning with my passion for scientific exploration • well i want to be an scientist so i guess research in chemistry can helpful for the whole world specifically for medical field

Class Size: 40Course Fees: INR 44000 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

Yearwise fees is arpund 6515 for first year bsc but for other degrees like B.A the fees per year is less • the division i don't know because i am in 1st year • my batchmates have same fees but for some that can be different based on which subject they choose • they can help u to get vivekananda scholarship and others

Campus Life

I am from girls college so there is no interference of political parties and campus life is boring honestly but one goid thing is people are good and i still don't hear anything about ragging and yes fests are also available in there

Admission

I also applied for bethune college and presidency college but i was not eligible for that on the basis of my marks and i got rejected and another reason why i chose this college because it locates very near from home and eligibility is you have to pass 12 th high secondary board exam with good percentage likr above 70% but that can't give u good subject choice

Faculty

Faculty student ratio is good like 4:1 Exams are easy but calcutta university has tendency to cut marks without any reason even if we write correct answer that's why some students fail to clear exam. And sometimes their question paper is too hard to understand mainly in the main subject

Night Life

I don't know anything about night life because i am in morning session and there is no gym in our college and some hangout places outside the college are vivekananda house and a temple and inside there is seminar room and canteen

I like chemistry from my higher secondary and want to read . 1:8 is the faculty : student ratio Almost everyone one has done phd from renowned university ( like IIt , Boston university , Calcutta university , IACS ) Few post doctoral professor is also there Exam is scheduled very regular basis and perfectly balancing the syllabus . It not that much to pass but questions standard is one of key features of this college

Course Curriculum Overview:

I have a great interest in doing chemical experiment.So it's obvious yo chose this subject. Chemistry department has lot of specialized faculty and they all have impressive qualifications.Above all they were very helpful and supportive.We got lot of helps from them. Teacher and student ratio was approximately 1:45.I have my three year course and there were 6 papers to qualify.Two papers in one year span. Its quite tough to pass every papers because question papers were really standard and there was no way to cheat in the exam hall. We had to go other colleges to give yerly exams.

I love my college

Course Curriculum Overview:

I love biology so i took this subject. In zoology department there are 32 students in my batch , approximately 100 students in our whole zoology department. Teacher are so good..they are too Frank with us. We love them. There are 6 semester in 3 years. Exam questions is very knowledgeable. It is not difficult to pass if one study hard.
